James Carville says top Democrats are telling him to shut up about Biden's 2024 weaknesses

Prominent Democratic Party strategist James Carville is claiming that "leading Democrats" have been telling him to hush up about President Biden’s difficult prospects for winning re-election in 2024.

In an article about Rep. Dean Phillips’, D-Minn., newly announced bid to primary Biden, The Atlantic spoke to Carville about his belief that the current president’s chances has a high mountain to climb as he seeks re-election.

The strategist disclosed that Biden’s numbers are "not good" and added Democrats are trying to get him to stop talking about it, not because he’s wrong, but because the idea is upsetting, he suggested.

Carville added that when he tells Democratic leaders that Biden is in trouble, they don’t disagree with him, they just tell him to keep it to himself. "Nobody is saying, ‘James, you’re wrong,’" he said. "They’re saying, ‘James, you can’t say that.’"

Carville told the outlet, "I’m looking at polling data, and I’m looking at all of it. The president’s numbers are just not good—and they’re not getting any better."

Carville, who has spoken to Phillips about his ambitions to replace Biden as the Democratic nominee, bolstered his claim, saying, "I talk to a lot of people who do a lot of congressional-level polling and state polling, and they’re all saying the same thing. There’s not an outlier; there’s not another opinion… The question is, has the country made up its mind?"

As a counterpoint, The Atlantic offered the perspective of former Obama 2012 campaign manager Jim Messina, who has been trying to reassure Democrats worried about Biden’s re-election prospects since the president officially launched his campaign.

Messina’s point was that "Biden’s already beaten Trump once. He’s the one guy who can beat him again."

However, Carville told the outlet he wasn’t buying that logic.

If he doesn’t shut up a few more people won’t believe the fraudulent election results.

”you cannot steal an unlimited number of votes without it becoming so obvious that even your own cheerleaders can’t deny it with a straight face.”

You can do a lot with a completely supine media. We already have certain districts with 105% voter participation, and the press reports this with a straight face. They reported, with straight faces, that Joe Biden received more votes than any candidate in history. Nobody on this forum believes that, but there he sits, in the White House, despite all our skepticism about his legitimacy.

Leadership weaknesses are actually an advantage for Joe Xiden because it is the deep state that actually runs things. Their "progress" was somewhat retarded by Obama's love of vacationing and golf.

The deep state only needs an empty figurehead to promote their agenda like Big Brother in 1984.

The Democrats stole the presidential election once—I have seen no evidence they cannot do it again, regardless of who the candidate is.

Until that is addressed the discussion of candidates for either party is just noise.

When the truth hurts you - it’s because you are wrong...
It’s why Dems get wild-eyed and rabid any time the truth approaches them...

An unusually clear choice is to be had in 2024, we already know what BOTH candidates were like as president and don’t have to imagine what life would be like under either.

Trump easily has the edge now, and Pedo Joe pimping for the death of the Jews isn’t going to help him!

The demented one never beat Trump. The far-left maggots who harvested and then counted the “ballots” beat Trump.

Here is the question, what if the people doing the cheating decide it’s not worth the effort? Most crooks are practical, If criminally doesn’t pay, they will do something else.

There is a reason for why democrats cheat. It's power and money. They will enthusiastically cheat for whoever is on the ticket. The prospect of losing power and money motivates the cheaters to give their best effort, regardless of who the candidate is. 2020 showed us that cheaters have many ways to generate the numbers they need to win. Republicans have had 3 years to mitigate democrat cheating techniques - and as far as I know, have not done so. Biden hardly campaigned in 2019. He knew the fix was in. Have you noticed that Biden is not campaigning for 2024 but spends most of his time at the beach or home in DE? Biden will likely win in 2024 just as he did in 2020 - because its not the number of votes that count but how they are being counted/manufactured.

This hits pretty close to the truth, I think. Hard for me to believe the figures I see coming from the Democrats concerning Biden’s ratings. In most of them it seems to me that they are always about 50% or more away from the truth. I believe they know the true figures, but they only use that as a guide to tell how much they need to cheat to win. Left to his own devices, Biden could ruin a free lunch in short order.

They own the press and think they can lie and cheat and propagandize their way in.

If you look at the stats, they suggest that the Democrats have already steadily built in a 5-6% margin of fraud in last few elections in many states. It's getting harder and harder to hide and the Democrats have still had to resort to adding another blatant 1% on top of that to win many elections.

And that may be the con. The left wants to pretend election results & poll results are meaningful so the steal and the fraud are not exposed. Focus the people on Biden’s chances like that matters.

Yes serpent head please stop talk about Crime Boss Joey’s weaknesses. Keep pumping Joey up so we can Super Glue him to the nomination.
With a proven crime at the top of their ticket the whine that “They’ll cheat,” becomes meaningless since Kennedy West and the rest of the fringe rodents will take 8 points right out of Joey’s hide.
The rodents will have to decide where to cheat since districts that were safe for them even in 2022 will be toss ups or better for Republicans in 2024.

Hey, James, that's what your party does. You guys have been way the civil rights first ammendment reservation for a long long time now. In fact you guys got this whole thing about gubmint supression of dissent going in the Clinton administration, remember? Who set the precedent for firing all the US Attorneys on day one of regime change - uh you did.

Not liking the whirlwind? Huh, feel for you. It is kinda sad.

I think the left expects to lose and they would rather not dirty/destroy a candidate they could run in 2028. Biden gives them an excuse not to expose the lack of credible candidates and work on 2028.
