It’s just the flu, bro…Year 5 (a thread for Flubros and Flubras)

It’s just the flu, bro…year 5 (a thread for Flubros and Flubras)

Four years ago we started this series of threads based on the premise that…it’s just the flu, bro. Essentially that Covid is just the flu. It should have been nothing more, from an impact point of view, nothing more than a bad flu season. The symptoms, treatment, prevention techniques for Covid were all similar to that of the flu.

We present as evidence…

https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2024/p0301-respiratory-virus.html

an excerpt- “The new guidance brings a unified approach to addressing risks from a range of common respiratory viral illnesses, such as COVID-19, flu, and RSV, which can cause significant health impacts and strain on hospitals and health care workers.”

Essentially a few thousand words are in the government link, all saying the same thing - Covid is just the Flu, bro.

For coronaviruses and influenzas, they always mutate to become more infectious but less deadly. But when we have no immunity to it, it can be quite deadly at first. But sometimes we just gotta get through it.

>> What’s the point of this thread ?

To scoff at the covidians and rub their noses in their abject proven failure — thereby rendering them ridiculous caricatures that will serve as an example to the others so plandemic plandemonium never again takes hold on this great nation!

At least I HOPE that’s the point. ;-)

This thread and others here on FR kept me sane and grounded. Wasn’t an expert but read enough here to formulate my thoughts. I only masked when I had to and on the whole hated it and eventually rejected the vax outright. I never got covid until the beginning of this year. It lasted 2 weeks for me and made me feel weak and a bit of a cough. No fever. Remained on my medications per my doctor and isolated until I tested negative which was exactly 2 weeks after I felt the first symptoms. It wasn’t severe for me. I’ve had worse flus in my life. During my time with it I rested in bed and Freeped.

What’s the point of this thread ?

If you're not interested in the truth maybe you're in the market for a bridge?

@ 41. Tend to disagree. Many reports of anthropologists or missionaries exposing an unreached tribe to a cold virus and the indigenous people having severe disease and death. The host changed with acquired immunity so they had asymptomatic disease. While the virus still had potential to cause severe disease in humans without acquired immunity.

Does your death count want to include my wife’s best friend who died an agonizing death from the faux vaccine?

I believe it was completely political. They brought about Covid in order to stop Trump and it seems to have worked what keeps him going is simply amazing to me.

“COVID” was NEVER the deadly threat it was made out to be, and it absolutely was the flu.

Hey, here are a few questions for the Covidians who still haven’t come to grips with reality:

What was the average age of “COVID” victims? How does this compare to average life expectancy?

How many hospitalizations were there for “COVID” during ANY year of the “pandemic”? How many for the flu in an average year?

I’ll help you out with this one: in the U.S. in 2017/2018, there were 710,000 hospitalizations for the flu. In the U.S., “COVID” hospitalizations peaked at 140,000 in March 2021, and the cumulative total for any year doesn’t even appear to approach 710,000 (I can only estimate, because while it was easy to find a year-by-year total of influenza hospitalizations, totals for “COVID” are hard to find). Funny thing though, I never heard anything about hospitals being “overwhelmed” in 2017/2018.

What percentage of ICU beds are occupied, seasonally adjusted and proportionate to staff levels, in an average year? What percentage of ICU beds were occupied during the “pandemic” years?

Before 2022, what was the definition of a “vaccine”? What is it (supposedly) now? Why did it change?

The “COVID” fraud is all about burying anything that might give perspective or context. That’s why no one ever asks, much less gets a straight answer to, questions like those above.

Dr. Fauci deliberately shifted the decimal point two places to the right, changing a projection that 0.02% of the population would die to make it appear that 2.0% would die.

He admitted that he did so in order to scare people into compliance.

States chose to lockdown.

Incentivized by taxpayer funds from the Feds and strong-armed with illegal diktats for hospitals that received Federal taxpayer money.

That didn’t happen in some states.

It was strictly the states.

Thank you for this thread. It helped to boost my spirits through a trying time for all of us. We must never forget the abuses and double-standards that were visited upon us in the name of science.

The people could not enjoy parks but Antifa/BLM were permitted to riot.

The People could not enjoy nor even open hair salons and beaches. Politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Chris Christie could.

We learned from Dr. Fauci that paper masks were on the one hand worthless and on the other essesntial for stopping the spread if Covid-19.

The Navy deployed hospital ships and the Army field hospitals to meet the need but went almost wholly unused. Yet Governor Cuomo double-stacked the sick and elderly in the same nursing facilities.

We learned that many big blue states had sold or could not find reserves of respirators in the event of a medical emergency.

We also learned how governments will behave the next time. And how to stick together to keep our spirits up.
