I’m not a doctor BUT . . . blood thinners will turn you into a hemophilliac type bleeder. They’re fine for short term (like after stents or surgery). Long term, I take nattokinase which has been proven to break up clots. That’s my two cents.

Got over a three week battle with what my doctor thought was COVID.

If it was that bad, it's even more important to get it treated early. Obviously, too late for you, but this is a good piece of advice for everyone else. There's a lot of nasty viruses out there. It could be the flu.

Northwest Pharmacy - https://www.northwestpharmacy.com/

OnlinePharmaciesCanada.com -
https://www.onlinepharmaciescanada.com/

Both are good, reputable pharmacies. Go online and they have instructions for using their website and ordering meds.

Also, try Good Rx. They have pretty good prices on many things.

Cost versus blood clot killing you. You are rolling the dice if you order from India

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/blogs/voices/quality-control-is-critical-to-the-indian-pharmaceutical-industrys-future-success/

Yes I know many drugs that you get officially from Walgreens etc are made in India but even those have been known to have quality control issues

Also, you are risking confiscation if you order from a foreign source.

I just paid over $800 for 3 months of Eliquis because my deductible hadn’t been meet yet. The rest of the year it’s about $325 for 3 months.

“Lifelong”, per my doctor.

I need to find better options. This is ridiculous. And every time I see a glitzy Pfizer commercial it really pisses me off. It’s like they’re rubbing my face in it.

To save money, I've purchased medication (not Eliquis) from the following Indian online pharmacy:

https://www.buy-pharma.md/Apixaban-p-7909.html

The link shows their generic Eliquis.

If interested in this pharmacy, you'll need to check the (US) legality of having your prescription script filled by an Indian pharmacy.

I chew up two 81mg baby aspirin every morning. It works for me. If I nick or cut myself the blood takes a while to clot. Just my observation.

I have been on it a year. Fortunately, it is covered on my insurance. You will bleed. A lot. At the slightest excuse.

I get my prescriptions via OptumRX under my United Health MediCare Advantage plan.

I did a quick lookup and Eliquis is $40 for a 30 day supply at my local Publix or $100 for a 90 supply via home delivery. Not too bad as far as that goes.

Eliquis doesn’t require the frequent blood draws like Coumadin but coumadin is much cheaper....also, there’s something called Lovenox injections they sometimes order....don’t know if they’re expensive or if your insurance will cover it but you can self administer it.
