Disturbing video shows accused killer NJ dad forcing 6-year-old son to run on treadmill because he was ‘too fat’

The accused “killer” New Jersey father who forced his 6-year-old son to run on a treadmill did so because the child was “too fat” as a disturbing new video reveals the alleged child abuse.

Christopher Gregor, 31, appeared in court Tuesday to stand trial for allegedly murdering his son Corey Micciolo in 2021. He faces life in prison if convicted.

During the trial, the Superior Court in Ocean City was shown surveillance video of Gregor forcing Corey to run on a treadmill after the boy fell off multiple times due to the exercise machine’s excessive speed.

Gregor and his son were seen on March 20, 2021, entering the Atlantic Heights Clubhouse fitness center, where the boy was promptly placed on the treadmill and began running, according to video, obtained by CourtTV.com.

Footage captured Gregor walking up to the treadmill to increase the speed and raise the incline of the track.

Were you ever told to “keep it down to a dull roar”?

Yeah. And when we would race inside then outside then inside then outside for water or juice, Mom would stop us and yell...

"Hey! InAgain, OutAgain, Finnegan! There's a hose outside if you're thirsty!"

Other articles provide more details.

Mom and Dad were separated and involved in a custody battle. Mom reported multiple times to CPS that her son came back home with bruises after visits with Dad. She sent emails, pictures, notices, and text messages. She petitioned for emergency full custody.

She was denied custody the day before her son died.

Mom tried to save her son. CPS and the courts failed them.
>

Yet, she continued to allow him to take partial custody instead of stepping up and STOPPING it from that point forward.

I’d have rather gone through the court system w/ that evidence than just voluntary hand him over, time & time again

This guy is a piece of work. You can tell by the way he picks the boy up, that he has issues. He grabbed him like a sack of potatoes.
Why would the post label this as a graphic video. It is horrible, despicable treatment, but graphic? We have become such a weak society.

What a POS who needs to take a dirt nap.

I have one question: did no one at the Club intervene to stop the treadmill?

No, but i was speaking to the fsct that some obsessed parents think that their kids are lazy when there might be a real and serious health issue going on- some parents just drive their kids to Excel , ruining their childhoods in the process, all for the sake of vanity-

If she has refused most likely she would be the one in jail. The State’s CPS bureaucracies are Kafkaesque. I have personal experience dealing with the Utah CPS. Many caseworkers are sadists who enjoy destroying families

Great point! Some parents are just sick in the head- especially the woke ones- so many kids being hurt and emotionally warped by parents who use them for social status rather than enjoy their presence as a valued part of the family

I was told to “go play in traffic... the heavier the traffic the better” (the folks were kidding of course... I think, but now come to think of it, they did “forget” to,check if I was in the car before taking off from the gas station and awful lot- but thankfully I had a good sense of direction and found my way back home again... and come to think of it, the family did up and leave the home in the middle of the night, qieittly so as not to awaken me- we were always moving, but they never told me where, so it took me awhile to track them down)

Yes, they are. Fascists gonna govt.

But if it was ‘jail via State’ based on said evidence of abuse, I’d be happy to be dragged through the coals; least put up a fight.

She was apparently trying to use the system. It failed her and the boy as usual. I would put the caseworker in jail with the father

My stepmom knew what to do! 4 words “GO. OUTSIDE. AND. PLAY.”

That was when you could go outside to play without worrying about the lunatics the bureaucrats unleashed on the public when they closed the insane asylums.

“What in the hell is wrong with these young parents these days??”

It is the collapse of Christianity. Without Christianity, people have no reason to be decent human beings.

There’s a social worker and their supervisor doing some serious CYA this morning. Cause a sacrificial lamb is now needed.

I hope the mom pursues a wrongful death suit against the state and the dad so he will be broke the rest of his life when they let him out (because they will).

I took my son out, when he was young, to teach him a lesson about easting and calories....

I took him to the HS track and made him run 4 laps, ( I ran with him) and then showed him exactly how many calories he burned by doing that.. We weren’t sprinting but a steady jog. When we were done I asked him how many calories he thought he burned doing that... then showed him what he actually burned... Needless to say his guess vs reality, and of course he’s sweating and just exerted himself for the last 10-15 minutes and thinks he burned some insane amount of calories... and the reality was far far far below that.

I didn’t do it to abuse him, and I didn’t drive him, but I didn’t let him quit either.

The lesson I attempted to teach him was for him to understand exactly how many calories he actually used vs what he thought he would use, and to be more aware of how much he was eating and needed.

This guy, he’s just an ass.. and abusing this kid.

They will find a case worker who isn’t a vicious psychopath to scapegoat.

My experience with the Utah CPS taught me this. Most of the data we amassed of the CPS abuses were from case workers who had quit because they couldn’t stand seeing families victimized by the agency. We are talking the children being put in cold concrete rooms with nothing but a straw mat to sleep on as “discipline” by these NGO “treatment” centers. The abuse of children by the therapeutic state was scandalous. I’d bet it’s still going on in other places.

I grew up less than a block from the elementary school. I used to walk home for lunch - we had all day Kindergarten in those days? Mom would be rockin’ grilled cheese sammiches and tomato soup ready to go.

I remember laying on my bed when summer came thinking “great! I can watch TV all day and read books.” But then Mom had some questions. “Don’t you want to go outside and play? I’ve got some chores for you to do.”

That didn’t take long. Every kid in the neighborhood must have got the same briefing. From then on it was understood to get outta the house bright and early. Had to be inside by dark. Other than that ….
