Good evening, Miss Palo..I have just been catching up,reading of your housecleaning adventures....a pair of high heels in your purse? Now thats fascinating....and deed to your house, the title to your car...you sure are finding some good things...It sounds like your housecleaning has been quite the adventure...Did Lulu help you out? perhaps there was some Kraft cheese singles lurking under the clothing....

The son came down Saturday night...normally he never comes down early, but came down because he had a hot date...and the gal lives in Olympia...so perhaps if he dates her for a while, we shall see more of him...after the hot date, he came back home to our house, where, even tho hes been gone from the nest for many years, his room still always remains as it was, and available for him...

We had a fabulous dinner of roast turkey, baked him, home made stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, yams, corn, cranberry sauce, olives, hot rolls, and strawberry shortcake...

And of course the Easter Bunny dropped by leaving baskets of chocolates, and lots of colored hard boiled eggs...all washed down with good beer and wine

Then the menfolk settled down to watch college basketball final four, for the mens teams, and watched the ladies play for their basketball championship...

I opted out, and instead watched 'Double Indemnity', appropriate because its a fabulous film, and made by Billy Wilder, who died just a few days ago....

The son just left a few minutes ago...we tried to convince him to stay overnight tonite, but he is anxious to return home to Seattle...He says we gave him enough Easter candies and treats to last him until next Easter...well, thats what moms do...spoil their kiddies, no matter how old those kiddies may be...

Grannie, I like your idea of painting an outhouse on your ceiling, at least I think it was your ceiling..my dad liked to oil paint in his spare time...one pic he did was of an outhouse...there is a path leading to the outhouse, with a most massive bug waiting for prey, and a huge sunflower grows next to the outhouse...I have that pic hung up in our master bathroom...

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter...we sure did enjoy ourselves today, and always love it when the son visits...

I'm laughed out. I believe I'll go hunt for that humming bird card. I told Palo I'd send it and now I can't find it anywhere. I suppose the ecard sites change their inventory once in a while. Maybe it has disappeared.

Chrissie is only gal I know who throws out every single thing she is not using (and is kind enuf to do it for her hubby too) and keeps everything spare and clean she is a good housekeeper
