Well, Mr. Dizzy is growing impatient with me...he wants attention and treats...of course treats come first, then the loving....

And I want to watch 'A Tale of Two Cities' which comes on in about 1/2 hour...its the old one, made in 1935, with Ronald Coleman, and the wonderful Edna Mae Oliver..its on TCM(Turner Classic Movies) for those who might be interested...

I love the ending...so sad, and yet so beautiful..."Tis a far, far, better thing I do now, than I have ever done before...tis a far far better place I go to"...those words, spoken by Sydney Carton, giving up his life, so that another might live, always move and touch me...ah, that Charles Dickens could sure write...

So must get my dinner done and over with, get Dizzy settled, grab a Coke, and settle in for a great old movie...

sweet dreams all dregs and flakes
tricky days lay ahead as we wait to see if chickie can stay out of juvenile court
Tia across the street was unwed mother last year (when she was 15)
she had been star math student at school for bright students in science and math before she dropped out to have her baby
she got in with bad crowd when she switched to school for unwed mothers to finish her education
all is well now, the baby's father just returned
and they have home together in tucson
however chickie has far wilder temperment than Tia ever had
and her new friends may lead her astray
how unfortunate she is known as speed demon behind the wheel
let us hope chickie stays at the drag racing level (as Tia did)
and does not get into a breaking-and-entering crowd
we lost the one member of our team who carries
so I will have to dispatch andysmom if chickie gets into court
