Goodness - that's right. Your's was of ages gone by, and their's was of a current hottie. Thanks for the rememory. I wish I could say more, but when any of us loses a loved one, it just takes me back in time to all the wonderful friends, through the years, that have gone before me.

It really screws up the monitor also. Thanks, be well. And I hope to be back soon. Off for more packing. JL

Thanks for the good wishes guys. KY is so different from the huge cities that you know so well. Life is truly different in Small Town World. I used to believe it was only America - but I now know that this is a world wide truism.

I'm looking forward to the sojourn - but even more, I'm anticipating my return home to our own poochies, kitties, my bed, and my own dumpster. ;-)

I am sure Tristan is running around doggie heaven with my Miss Minnie right now...they are sweet little creatures from God and we do so treasure what little time we had with them.

I received an Italian cookbook this week, I ordered it through a catalog. It's compiled by a group of Italian lodges in NY, mostly rustic, homestyle type recipes.

In the dessert section, there is a recipe for "Hillary Clinton's Chocolate Chip Cookies". At first, I thought it was a goof. Like Hitlery Klintoon is remotely Italian or ever baked a chocolate chip cookie in her life. ((harumph))

I thought about sending the book back, but there are so many other good recipes in it, I might keep it anyway....
