HERE is someone sorely lacking in Christian eleemosynary. I found the anti-Christian tone of this piece absolutely shocking. I am not familiar with the author, so if she is some leftwing flack, perhaps it is predictable. but GOOD GRIEF, to be ragging on these Miss American contestants for being Christian was beyond the pale. SUBSTITUTE ANY OTHER RELIGION for Christian, in that screed and the woman would have been burned at the stake. Imagine if the author were decrying their devotion to Judaism or God Forbid, if they WERE all black and she was deriding them for their ethnicity. Christianity, the last bastion for the bashers.
