People Need To STOP Bashing Sarah Palin Over McCain

Posted on 03/26/2010 8:44:09 AM PDT by wk4bush2004

So yeah, I'm getting sick and tired of how people are bashing Sarah Palin over her endorsement of McCain.

We all know why she's doing it and she has my complete respect and support.

So, anyway, conservatives are fighting amongst each other over this and it really is pathetic! On Sarah's Facebook page, people keep lamenting, whining and moaning over it, and I kept calmly trying to calm them down, but they wouldn't listen. Finally, I lost it and said:

"FOR GOD'S SAKE, PEOPLE, PULL YOURSELVES TOGETHER!!!!! THIS IS NOT HOW A GROUP OF PATRIOTS ACTS!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY, DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO BE 100% PERFECT IN YOUR EYES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO BE A VIABLE CANDIDATE???? LAST TIME I CHECKED, NO ONE IS!

SARAH PALIN IS THE BEST CHANCE WE HAVE TO UNSEAT OBAMA AND HIS FASCIST REGIME AND YOU'RE ALL HERE TOO BUSY ARGUING ABOUT ONE ENDORSEMENT!!!!!!!! THAT IS PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!

WE HAVE TO BE 100% UNITED IN ORDER TO DEFEAT THE SOCIALISTS!!!!!!! STOP GETTING INTO STUPID PETTY FIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SARAH ENDORSED MCCAIN! OK, DONE, NEXT ISSUE, PLEASE!!!!!!!"

I'm no military guy, but I do know that in a battle, you need to have a UNITED FRONT and petty arguments like this are dividing the front!

It is obvious that Sarah Palin is the only one who can defeat Obama and that we need to be united around her!

Good post. Preserving and strengthening the party is what’s important here. We can’t afford to be seen discarding John McCain. Sarah Palin can’t afford it either.

While I personally agree with your sentiments, others don’t. They’re free to think for themselves.

I do think that every news article that states that Palin is doing exactly what she said she’ll do hardly qualifies as “news”, but I don’t want to get in the business of being the “posting police”, either.

MCCAIN-Feingold gave us the Dem 2006/2008 Congress and 2008 Obama. We are where we are (close to tyranny) thanks to McCain.

Sarah can just avoid and ignore him. She has chosen to support him. I loathe all teh other RINOs - Mitt, Jeb, Newt, and others supporting McCain. If people cannot see the evil McCain has wroght then they are stupid.

Maybe I can make it a little simpler “Your Life is F’ed because of McCain & his friend Obama - it may be E’ffed for good too.”

Anyone supporting McCain is a fool or worse than a fool. McCain has called us “racists” using the Alinsky smear.

When she agreed to be his running-mate, she essentially and effectively endorsed him. For her to rescind her endorsement would be to hand ammunition to her enemies. That’s politics in the major league. It is what it is.

We can’t afford to be seen discarding John McCain.

If we don't politically discard those who have discarded the Constitution, we shouldn't be surprised when we have no country left.

And John Judas McCain definitely discarded what really matters long ago.

Loyalty to an individual or a personality should not trump loyalty to this country, its people, or its fundamental principles.

The best thing that could happen to Sarah Palin is to be rid of John McCain. So, support J.D. Hayworth, and ACTUAL conservative instead of this squishy old ‘moderate’ and free her and all of us of him once and for all.

In other words - her principles are easily convoluted.

No. If you wish to attribute a particular principle to her, then she shouldn’t have agreed to be his running-mate in the first place. According to principle.

I guess they're supposed to blindly support rinos like Perry, Cornyn, and McCain who are already soft pedaling reversing this monstrosity of a health care bill. Since, after all, it wouldn't be such a bad bill if it is supported by those whose names are followed by an "R".

Sarah Palin is NOT our only hope.

John McCain is one of the biggest problems of our govenment.

I like Sarah. If you don’t believe me, check out my youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/my_videos?feature=mhw4

However, as the problems grow in our country, I am beginning to feel that the problems are much, much bigger than Sarah. We MUST get someone in who can tackle them.

Hate me, if you will, but that’s how I see it right now.

Anyway, I don’t think she’s going to run.

To be honest its not just McCain its her support of Rand as well, two choices and both bad. Not saying I am walking away, but I would like a good explanation for both choices.

Are we certain of this? Granted, she gets my vote over the current field of counterfeit conservatives, but....

AuntB, I have seen dozens of threads with thousands of posts from FReepers telling me why Sarah Palin is doing this. I have yet to see Palin herself explain why she is doing this. I may have missed it but I have not seen her own words on why she’s supporting a man who detests conservatives. She had plenty of time to rethink her position between the time she resigned and her stated support of McCain.
