Beck, Palin & Clear Denial: It must be very hard for White America to sleep these nights!
The Iranian ^ | September 1, 2010 | Bruce Behrouz Bahmani

Posted on 09/02/2010 3:03:13 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

The recent event put on by Glenn Beck this past weekend, showed me a lot about that portion of middle America that has been getting smaller and smaller and smaller. Yet the middle of these Americans seems to be getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

Boy Oh Boy the world sure has changed for them! What used to be a porcelain complexioned rosy cheeked European immigrant, has shockingly morphed into a range of brown and yellow skinned slant and slit eyed, bushy and dark browed, beard and mustachioed horde of freaking heathens!

It must be very hard for Beck's White America to sleep these nights!

The reality that the world may have shifted since World War II's liberation of Europe, or the last time they looked East past the Statue of Liberty, is sinking in faster than the Titanic.

Proof of this paranoid panic attack is Beck's brilliant simple solution. According to Beck all of this is easy to fix. Restock.. I mean Restore America.

The rambling non-speech surrounding something or other to do with getting back all the Good in America by pretending to make any Bad anyone could possibly find in the Home of the Gravy and the Land of the Free refill, disappear.

Let me stop right here and just say, Glenn. Buddy. America is overflowing with Good. If Good was food, Americans would be obese. Actually most of America is obese so bad analogy. But trust me or anyone from the third world who cannot count on just 3 things in their struggling societies that Americans don't even have the synapses to fire on. Electricity that runs uninterrupted all day, decent asphalt, and Miranda rights. America has a LOT of Good.

But Beck and his new found halter-ego and partner in fighting crime that doesn't exist Sarah Palin, think that what's not broken needs a fixin'. And they're just the 3 boobs to bring some good old fashioned elbow grease to get this wheel of fortune spinning again.

How do they plan on doing this? Simple! Getting back to that Old Timey religion! All that which has only dis-served America so well in the past. According to Beck all you need is faith and to believe in America (and Santa Clause) again, and everything will be Becker... I mean better.

OK, so No, stop all of this nonsense now. Stop baiting Sharpton and the entire Black community by putting your event on the same day as the Martin Luther King "I have a Dream" speech and feign innocence about it. Because especially if you are trying to say your point is relevant to MLK's, then you are socialist AND racist.

Getting back to Beck's event, his main point was wanting to "stop wandering in the darkness" and get back to "concentrate on the good things in America". Palin on the other hand wanted to "restore America and restore her honor"

I have an idea on just how to do that.

If Glenn Beck wants a list of the Good things about America, he needs to travel outside of it for just one week. I guarantee he will come back with a very long list.

If Sara Palin wants to restore America's honor, she needs to travel with Beck on the same flight. She will soon see the results of what corporate greed driven badly executed US foreign policy has done to America's honor. If the US had not put Saddam and the Taliban in power to begin with maybe Marcus Lutrell and three of his fellow Navy SEALs would not have had to "confront the issue of justice and mercy in a decision that would forever change their lives."

Maybe, just maybe if US foreign policy was checked and looked over by say anyone with a conscience (not Cheney), it would not cause such a mess and damage that an entire future generation would be needed to clean it up.

To see what is right and wrong with America, Beck and Palin need to most urgently visit the world outside America. To gain a real working class perspective on just how well people here are doing as compared to the rest of the world, to see first hand the quantum leap difference in how people in America live, and what kinds of problems Americans have, as compared to what the rest of the world has to deal with.

On the flight over to Get-a-Clue-istan, they need to watch an in-flight movie on the History of the 20th century and fast forward to those parts where the US supported the many oppressive dictatorships and overthrew legitimate democratic governments to favor the few, the not very proud, and then have to call in the Marines (or as I like to call them "America's Janitors") to mop up the certain blood.

Comparatively, America doesn't have a single thing to worry about except it's rather shameful Foreign Policy, which since Beck wasn't talking about politics, was oddly off the entire table.

What was on the table instead, was keen and thinly veiled racism that both Beck and Palin espouse ever so delicately, carefully wearing it under their brown shirts, so as to never get caught. Yet Beck was caught. Palin is just one Tweet away from lacing the N-word.

America's reality is real. As much as Beck and Palin might want it to remain White, America will not be White much longer, because the world is not White.

The World is mostly Brown.

And the Brown World wants and deserves to have as much as America has. And it is increasingly coming here to get it.

You can wish and want and yearn for the good old days all you want, but Jose, Shian, and Hassan are on their way. Their fathers, brothers or uncles are already here, all have Green Cards or US Citizenship, and they have filled out all the necessary forms thankfully printed by the INS in many of their own languages and dialects. You can choose to welcome them as Americans into the community pool of prosperity, or you can sit and stew in your broken down RV in the trailer park of ignorance and intolerance.

Either way, America will change from a Euro-Centric beef and potatoes eating society to a Global nation open to wildly exciting exotic spice-infused vegetarian delights and other ideas.

And lamb. There will most likely be a lot more lamb in America's future heartland. And lamb is actually quite good. And good for you and your black heart.

“By the way, I doubt anyone is going to have much use for half-witted doodlers like this author when we’re all living at Third World subsistence levels.”

The only reason these navel gazing, entitled losers have been tolerated so far is because the west was so fat. When times get tough, it will be root hog or die and the navel gazers won’t last long.

And the Brown World wants and deserves to have as much as America has. And it is increasingly coming here to get it.

An open admission that the Brown World is unable to create and build what it wants where they have lived historically. They must come here if they are to have it.

But they do not in any way deserve it if their own civilizations cannot create it. Maybe they need to examine the political and economic systems they've created and lived with for centuries. But that would require self-examination rather than the childish and much easier route of blaming others for what they lack.

This is truly a pathetic and hate filled screed for this bigot.

Don't make the mistake of thinking this is an Iranian, Middle Eastern rant. It's not.

Rather, this is an expression of the liberal mindset of the SF Bay Area. They feel this level of frothing insane rage over everything. If they don't get the right amount of chocolate sprinkles on their ice cream cone they sound like this. Never has there been a more perfect combination of hate, hypocrisy, ignorance, arrogance and sheer sadism than the liberals of the SF Bay Area.

And that's no exaggeration whatsoever. Remember, these people elected Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein and Brown - and are proud of it. They not only pull the wings off flies, they dip them in chocolate and eat them (Godiva chocolate only, of course).

Ah...but when the White population of America gets fed up enough to change the country you may find yourself singing a different tune. We should require that every immigrant have money for himself and his family to live for a year plus having a place to live, as was the case when my ancestors came to the US from Europe in 1860. These sleazy anti-Americans who are sucking the life out of our nation while being on the taxpayers’ gravy train need to be deported.

Having read a good portion of this “piece”, let me say that the author has a misconception about many Americans. That is, he feels they should “care” about the rest of the world. The actual truth is that Americans, like most other folk around the world, “care” about their situation first.

It is not that we begrudge the rest of the world a good life, let them work for it as we’ve done (and our predecessors have done). It will all work out.

In the meantime, we need to return to the idea of “American exceptionalism”, it is important and timely.

When the black Africans took over South Africa from the dutch, they stole their lands that fed the whole country and exported food and the natives that took over the farms don't know how to farm and the country is on the edge of starvation....

Skin color does not denote superior knowledge, they thought if the white man can do it so can the black man....problem is the Dutch had been there 300 years and knew how to use the land. Most of the white Africans were murdered, men women and children by the black natives....but of course all the countries boycotted South Africa when it was a dutch government and now they don't care about the natives lack of food now.

The self righteous destroyed a prosperous country because they are themselves racist and see only color..

The dutch government themselves turned over the country due to unrest and boycotts. The smart one's left, and there aren't too many dutch Africans left in the country....just my humble opinion based on what I have read....

It was illegal to buy Krugerrands /sp. a funny side effect is that when Coleman Young was mayor of Detroit he got caught with a trunk full of them....oops

As a result of the responses on this thread, I contacted the author Bruce Bahmani to let him know the people on this thread did not appreciate his article or opinions and sent him those responses wishing him the same 'good night's sleep'. After a few exchanged emails I invited him to freerepublic, at his request, perhaps to respond? For the record, I do not agree with his opinion article and told him so but his responses to me, via email, were civil and articulate. (though some of his email responses to freepers here on the thread were not always kind) I think you, and others, might be hearing from him here.

I have never contacted an author of a posted article until this time and I did so because I felt him was so terribly wrong in his logic and thinking.

Thanks to boxsford for a healthy response to my article on Iranian.com. IRDC is the most anti Islamic Republic of Iran website, banned by the Iranian government because it exposes the many crimes of Iran against it’s own people, never mind the fraud it is perpetrating in the world. So I am by no means islamic, shiite, or a sympathizer of the regime.

That being said, I think many who overreacted to my article which was in reaction to another fraud I observed, namely the Beck ratings raising ploy, and Palin’s glom-on wannabe, moneymaker, and 2012 moves.

The fault in my opinion lies at the feet of what I called “White America”.

It is utterly dumbfounding to me that in a model of democracy, the White majority (85% of the US is still white in spite of what you think you see in the inner cities), has abdicated it;s involvement in voting and politics, allowing the kinds of policies we have seen, especially recently to get past scrutiny, never mind stopping them from their disastrous path.

My piece was a wake up call to what could happen when you let the Becks, Palins, (and now apparently the Rove’s) govern the roost. In my opinion, as an objective un-tainted outside observer, these cock-a-doodle-doos have nothing in common with what is simply the right thing to do.

But they do remind me a lot of how back home in what used to be the “Good Iran” Khomeini, Rafsanjani, and Ahmadinejad betrayed the Iranian people with promises and fakery that ended up showing nothing more that contempt for the people who merely wanted freedom from an oppressive (US puppet) Shah.

Just as Iranians then were “played”, I noticed the same deja-vu familiar body language of lies, and false promises of Beck and Palin posing with strategically sniffed sniffles and alligator tears of pseudo-patriotism. Rove’s recent comments, literally spun my head and took me back to an almost exact similar comment by a politician who was later executed by the right-wing-extremist faction who finally took power in Iran, as soon as Khomeini died and could no longer block them. Yes, Khomeini in hind-sight, was the moderate cleric!

Additionally because white America has been asleep at the wheel, things have become all to easy for immigrants who as you can see in California if you take a driver’s test in over 15 languages, don’t even have to learn passable English. When I go to a store owned by an undoubtedly hard working American dream seeking immigrant, if I can’t understand what they are saying, it is me who must apologize, or be embarrassed. WTF?

Instead of taking the reins and guiding the immigrants who are flocking to the US because of the continued bad US foreign policies (you allow by being silent) that makes staying “back home” impossible, I have seen a xenophobia build up against immigrants. Which in a post Hitler, Apartheid, Khmer Rouge, Balkan ethnic cleansing world, is utterly retarded. Never mind un-American. I keep waiting for John Wayne to walk over and punch someone out for beating the Apache who dared ask for a drink at the bar!

Here is an example of the kind of conservative thought and pragmatism I am suggesting, namely that Sorry, we cannot afford (fiscal conservatism) to print 17 different versions of a driver’s license test, so you need to take a class (Good for English language business growth and job creation) and learn the language of your new home, if you want to drive or run a business in the US.

This is an example of my call to you guys (assuming most here are conservative and part of the majority white who I claim have been asleep since Reagan).

Barring this kind of “NO we can’t afford that” and others like it, from the 85% majority in the US, the only alternative I suggested was that you are all going to have to learn to love lamb.

Yes it was said with a lot of disdain, and not too little irony.

Hope this clears my point up.
