Thanks Rabin. Adding to GGG (modern history topic), not pinging the list.

Communism is still alive and threatening freedoms at every turn.
Even the past is disappearing.

Even the past is disappearing.
Even were it not, the leftist response
is always, “This time it’s different.”

If it had been up to Kissinger the Soviet Union would still be around.

People like Kissinger are more dangerous to Americans than the USSR ever was.

Bashers of modern day Russia prefer having the USSR around, I think.
Maybe it gives them moral clarity.

He misses his old pals, the soviets. He created modern China, a far more formidable foe than the soviets were. They were done by the late 70s and Reagan knew it.

I’ve just been reading up on Kissinger himself. Wow. My impression is not favorable. I think there were some major major screwups and I’m not really saying China though, sure, include them too.
To: Rabin
I still remember this BS artist proclaiming during Nxon's DETENTE that the Soviet Union will be the winning side and it was up to him and Nixon to cut the best deal for the USA
I damn near gagged
And he was right in line with Nixon bringing China into modern times
Nixon and Kissinger TWO LOSERS

Nixon bringing China Communists into the modern world was through weakness.

Funniest thing I ever read about Kissinger is that if you close your eyes, whilst listening to him speak, it’s all-too-easy to imagine that voice croaking out of a telephone receiver at 2:00AM, as its owner sits somewhere in a nearby high-rise, using a pair of binoculars to peer a young woman’s windows...
“Mmmmm... Nice of you to keep your curtains open... I like vatching you on ze toilet...”
