I heard Clark refer to CNN as "our network" the other night. Not very objective. He is just another puppet for the Clintons. I am tired of all the armchair generals.

LOL, this is the same guy who almost started WWIII when he demanded the Brits stop the Russians at the airport in Kosovo. Fortunately, the Brit General stood up to him and revealed him for a fool.
The guy who insisted that out guys fly at 15,000 ft so there wouldn't be any losses (except to innocent civilians). This guy is the Clinton military personified.

Sometimes it seems as if a bullet is too good a thing to waste on Wesley "Crusher" Clark.

Hey Wesley, tell me again how easy it is to sit back in your easy chair, second guess actions half way around the world and take pot shots at the finest fighting force (no thanks to your bitch THE SCUMBAG) in the world. Tell me again?
If you can't say something constructive then shut the f**k up! Damn, what a patriot, huh?

Shut the F*ck up Clark. You ain't perfect either.
During his term as Nato Commander, Europe, General Wesley Clark gained a reputation as a no-nonsense, tough-as-nails career soldier. He held a high-profile position during the 1999 Kosovo war.
His words at the beginning of Nato's bombing campaign set the tone for the alliance's tough line with President Milosevic.
"We're going to systematically and progressively attack, disrupt, degrade, devastate and ultimately, unless President Milosevic complies with the demands of the international community, we're going to destroy his forces and their facilities and support," he said.
But the campaign was not as swift and decisive as Nato had hoped and there were a series of mistakes, including the bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade.
During the air strikes there were rifts between General Clark and the British commander General Sir Mike Jackson.
"I'm not going to start the Third World War for you," the British commander reportedly told General Clark during one heated exchange.
General Jackson overruled Gen Clark by refusing to send troops to stop Russian forces taking control of Pristina airport.
Nato bosses denied General Clark had been asked to leave his post early because of his handling of the Kosovo conflict. He stepped aside for administrative reasons, to make way for his successor General Joseph Ralston.

Clark is a war criminal and mass murderer of civilians, and is mentally unstable. He should STFU. Just wait, the first time he's really challenged on an issue while on TV, he's gonna snap and go banannas like McCain does all the time. But, since they won't show McCain's insanity fits, they probably won't show Clark's either. The man is DANGEROUSLY INSANE.

Wesley Clark said Mr Rumsfeld's insistence on a smaller invasion force had left troops vulnerable and the 300-mile oil supply line between Kuwait and Basra open to guerilla attack. This is typical Democratic Party mantra for the masses, "more bodies are better." Just how do you clear a congested battlefield overloaded with too many soldiers under attack from chemical weapons? More soldiers means more confusion. The Democrats know that this kind of thinking, more is better, sells to the stupid masses that support them.
Remember how Clinton added 100,000 cops to America's streets. Shortly afterwards four white New York cops unloaded 41 bullets into a black immigrant who was pulling keys out of his pocket to go into his apartment building. It turned out that three of the cops had only been on the force for less than six months, Clinton dogs. Less cops and stronger enforcement from the courts would go further to clean up the mess. Clintons idea of more cops is consistent with a lack of will to enforce the law.
More soldiers would be the same. Too many cooks spoil the soup. This passes over the heads of career government hacks like Clinton. Thank god we have Rumsfeld who has worked in both the private and public sector. Rumsfeld is right. Pound the crap out of the Iraqis from the air and then send in a small ground force to do the dirty ground work of extracting dug in resistance.

Unbelievable!
This guy (Clark) was the Clintonista/NATO general in charge of the Serbian War, a war disputed to this day as to the necessity of that action.
He's considering running for President in '04 as a Dimocrat. He is a paid CNN 'expert.'
Clark is a viscous Daschle-type schill, willing to skewer President Bush at any turn for personal and/or Dimocrat gain.
Whatever you think on what I just said, please critique Clark closely, both as a fmr. NATO Supreme Commander and as a current politico-wannabe, and make up your own mind.

The Dept. of Defense is solving the number of troops problem.
The greater problem, now, is that we must move into the towns in order to support any uprisings.
We must prove that we are committed to facing the worst. It's going to get very bloody for us.
The Iraqis who desire their freedom and have the courage to fight, need to see us stand by them.

Everyone who is saying things aren't going well are wrong. Frankly, I can't think (of the top of my head) of any campaign in modern or ancient history that has gone better (so far).
However. That said, I have been concerned about Rum's insistance that the military think "outside the box." What's wrong with that? Simple, we are masters of the box. So why change it.
I wonder if old fashioned "blow everything up" would be better than "reall cool tactics."

In my opinion Wesley Clark is a war criminal and a very unstable person. He wanted to go to war with Russia.

LORD, GOD,
PLEASE Add Ramsey Clark to the list of those who need to be removed from public life ASAP.
He's lonnnnnng overdue, Lord, IMHO.
You are our only hope against these traitorous, destructive idiots, Lord. Please have mercy on us and
effect such a change in your wisdom and will ASAP.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.

only time will tell who is right here, unfortunately, if Rumsfeld is wrong, we will see a lot of casualties...
Rumsfeld thinks the iraqis are like the taliban, they will all throw up their hands and run...
and if they don't - well, we got big problems..
shock and awe is nothing but shockingly awful, imo...
Rumsfeld measures his success on how fast, how far we penetrate into iraq...somehow, for those who have friends and family serving in the theater now, the only measure of success is can they get their love ones back home safe and sound...
only time will tell...
the doctrine of using the full might of the US military is being thrown away by Rumsfeld...he thinks air dominance alone will take care of the risks in the supply line...but, can air power alone be sufficient to protect the supply line when the attackers are driving in small pickup trucks and work in small bands...
I sure don't want to be in Rummy's shoes...but then again, if he screws up, he can still retire as a rich man in New Mexico...and he couldn't care less...

When BG Clark was the Commander of the National Training Center (NTC) at Fort Irwin, CA I always felt that he was there at the OK of Klinton. When he moved to Europe I
knew that he was a supporter of Klinton. I just wonder what that relationship was/is.

While I am for overwhelming force and a bottomless supply line supporting our troops, Wesley Clark is a Klinton era whore who is much more a political slut than a soldier.
That said, I'll be unforgiving if our troops are stupidly endangered or not 400% supported.
There's thin reporting at maximum supporting Clark's contentions.

Wesley Clark said Mr Rumsfeld's insistence on a smaller invasion force had left troops vulnerable and the 300-mile oil supply line between Kuwait and Basra open to guerilla attack. Why does Clark assume that he knows the final size of our invasion force?

Iraqi Dead - 25,000 - 35,000
U.S. Dead - 24
Yep, this strategy just isn't working.
More people die in accidents in California in an average week than died in the first week of Iraqi Freedom. California, surrender your cars before its too late!
