DUer gets what's coming to him-- Is Canned
Definitly Ungrateful | 6/10/04 | WO4TG

Posted on 06/10/2004 10:07:11 PM PDT by WinOne4TheGipper

I was sent notified of this by Quzar and thought it deserved a thread of it's own.

As news of the death of Ronald Reagan spread, nutcases have been trying to contain thamselves from dancing on the grave of the man who they owe their very lives to. Of course, they can't help themselves at DU.

We begin our story of the aptly named misanthrope. You see, he is a nut. He can't help himself, he was born that way. Don't judge him. Well, this particular nut, however worked for a radio program (I think NPR). At this radio station, he was instructed to come up with a tribute to Reagan. As such, he does what everyone charged to come up with a tribute to a dead man does. He whines about it to his friends on an Internet site that is under heavy watch in recent days because of repeated disrespectful, inhumane talk about ill or dying leaders, such as the recent debacle where members wished the attorney general would die of pancreatitis. As such, he was found, reported, and summarily dismissed from his job. So he goes right back to said site and whines more.

Should have mentioned that he tried to think of ways to undermine said tribute.

Im not sure I believe if this guy actually did get fired you know DUmmies do have a bit of a tendancy to outright lie.For some reason I doubt that a person would fire another for a post on a message board.
Of course the response by the DUmmies is for him to sue Jim and every freeper in the world. They are whinning that the freeper facists struck again when they know full well if the situation was reversed they would have done the same thing.

What are they complaining about? They should be proud to see that a FReeper took a tactic right from their own playbook:

Tired of losing? Check in here - The Bag of Dirty Tricks thread.

LOL. That's actually the title of an October 2003 thread in the DUmpster.

They sowed the wind, one of the reaped the whirlwind:

1) Get Republicans fired at your workplace, or fire them yourself if you can – In the belief that all activism starts with the grass roots, do us all a favor, and fire your Republican employees this week. There are legitimate reasons to fire virtually any employee, so avail yourself of them. Not only will it quit the gloating you’re hearing around the office, it’ll stop those donation checks they are getting ready to write. Might also teach them a bit of humility regarding the poor and the disadvantaged. They can be the “Pioneers” of “Unemployment Window A”

TO MISANTHROPE:

Were you or were you not posting to that original thread from computers at your (former) radio station? Did you use any work resources at all?

Answer on your own board.

This was a novel opportunity. Most DUers are already unemployed. That's why they're DUers.
