The conservative youth movement is getting some real legs. I think they are seeing all the old gray ponytails and realizing that you can't replay Kent State forever in hopes of reclaiming heady glory. The world today is much more complicated and the liberal mind is unable to grasp complexity .

It is very cool that your daughter got DUFU #500. DUFU is starting to be more than just a "blog." It is a phenomenon that uses the most devastating of weapons -- humor -- to demonstrate how bankrupt the liberal philosophy is. And the black hearts of Denizens of the Left.

Doesn't surprise me. I would put the "Dummies" at DU up against those ignorant and very very sad people any day of the week. A war of the minds would much be welcome. They never post any facts. They never look into the credibility of anything they decide to negatively rant about.

This by far the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen at this hack site. I've been banned twice from there for doing nothing more than trying to engage in a "war of minds"...I've seen 20Xs the debate here, than what passes for same, there.

This place has 50Xs the bandwidth, and more posters by a factor of ten than those hacks. Sue me. I kinda like my country, and would rather celebrate it, than tear it down. And that's all they seem to do there.

The GOP and its faithful minions have been stinking of fear since election day, and no place has had a fouler stench than Freeper Land. I hate to visit the Free Republic message board, because I feel sorry for them. They are like a bunch of little kids trying to convince themselves that they are not afraid of the boogeyman, but you know that they are so wound up, the minute someone goes "boo!" they are going to jump out of their skins. This is no coincidence. The way that the far right motivates it rank and file is through fear, the same way Hitler and Goebels motivated their followers. Meanwhile, all us liberal types are having such a good time just being ourselves, it drives them crazy with rage and envy.

No, really. These people actually believe that we are obsessed with losing the election that we not only did not steal, but won convincingly! This is after our candidate kicked Lurch's last ass all over the country, drawing in 62 million plus voters. After Michael Moore, "Bush Is Hitler", the propaganda activities of the MSM and the mobilization of the Left to an unprecedented degree, WE KICKED LURCH'S ASS!

And they can't take that, so they came up with this Diebold bullsh*t. They literally can't admit that their guy, John Kerry, couldn't have beaten Heinrich Himmler, he was so bad. In addition, a mythical theft helps to keep them from confronting the Fifth Columnist element of their party that is actually cheering on our Islamic fascist enemies.

Finally, part of the reason for this is financial. The smart lefties are looking for a way to keep the Left angry. Creating a new "Stolen Election" myth keeps the ignorant agitated. It also helps with fundraising. That's another part of what this is all about.

As to Pitt, he's a pompous ass who played a marginal role in reporting on the left side of the Kerry campaign. He's a big fish in DU, but that's a very small pond. He thought he was a big man because he got to report on the big media party for Kerry at Al Franken's place back in March, but that entire effort turned out to be forlorn. Pitt reported on what happened at the affair as the liberal media figures "interrogated" John Kerry. Somehow I don't believe that the entire party revolved around Pitt.
