Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean complained that the timing of Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquists death was highly suspicious.
Last year, Reagan conveniently died just in time to take attention away from Bushs failed Iraq War and boost Bushs chances for reelection, said Dean. Now, in the midst of Bushs failure to prevent the extermination of downtrodden, minority New Orleans hurricane victims, Justice Rehnquist conveniently dies. Am I the only one who sees a pattern here?
Dean charged that presidential advisor Karl Rove was masterminding these strategically timed deaths of conservative icons. Not only do these deaths distract Americans from Bushs blunders, they also serve as a cover for Roves nefarious scheme to suppress Democratic voter turnout in next years Congressional elections by evacuating New Orleans hurricane victims to other states, claimed Dean.
Dean demanded that the Democratic Party be authorized to cast absentee ballots on behalf of the evacuated hurricane victims. These dispersed people are mostly poor and uneducated, said Dean. Many are on welfare. Others are driven to a life of crime. These are the people the Democratic Party represents. Who could object to us casting their ballots for them during this time of turmoil?
Dean said he will be working with key members of Congress to draft enabling legislation.

No kidding. I had no trouble believing it at first. But then I took my medication.
This is not scrapple?
Spoken like a true lib!
You know...it would be very funny if the followers of Dean did not take it seriously. Have you ever been to the "Democracy for America Website?" There are people there who believe such hogwash. Hell, there are a whole bunch of people there who believe that 9/11 was faked (the buildings were brought down by demo charges) or it was a conspiracy of the US Government. (All of the people on those planes, well, they are being kept hidden of course in Area 51.)
What the he!! He's really going over the edge. Did we kill Rehnquist or did he die of cancer. How inconvenient for the Deans of the democrat party. I thank God for Mr. Dean though. It's better for us that he be allowed to spew his nonsense. Good grief.
It's ok. Most everyone thought I was talking about Clintoon and I had plenty of material to cover my tracks.
Hmm, is this sarcasm????? I just read the rest of the story and seems to be this is all a joke. Darn.
best recruiter for the Republican Party
your right.
hate to say it, but, he may be better than the Great Ronald Reagan.
And this man is a medical doctor, right???
This Dean guy surpassed all my expectation :)
ME, TOO! I'm just sorry it wasn't true. Darn.
Is this for real? Please tell me it's satire, better yet, please tell me it's real because I think this will definitely turn off a few million democrat voters.
Michael Moore will have to make a documentary about this. After he loses 200 pounds....
Wink, wink. :)
It is satire.
