There is an article everyone should read in today's Ithaca Journal.
It begins with:
Democrat Jean Owens was declared the winner of the Enfield supervisor race after a judge ruled on Tuesday that a military ballot not be counted.
Owens' margin of victory was a single vote, as unofficial Board of Election results show her with 430 votes and incumbent Republican Gary Fisher with 429.
New York State Supreme Court Judge Walter J. Relihan Jr. ruled that the military ballot challenged last month by Tompkins County Democratic Party Chairwoman Irene Stein should not be counted.
Owens said she was pleased with the judge's decision and was relieved to have the election decided. She said the race between her and Fisher showed that every vote does count and that election laws need to be followed to protect the process.
"I have been saying to people all day that this is a prime example of how every vote counts," Owens said. "I felt throughout the process that it was important to uphold election law."
According to Owens, who won the election by one vote, throwing a vote out "is a prime example of how every vote counts."
Wait.....it gets better:

What does that moron mean "every vote counts"? The military vote didn't count. But then, again, to these people the military doesn't count for anything...
om gud.... and that Senator woman wrote a book about a woman who runs for Congress to fight for abortion in the name of 'protecting children'.
Orwell was right.
"It's not who votes that counts. It's who counts the votes."
Stalin lives in Thompson County. 'Rat-owned judge?
Unbelievable.
