Have you ever read any of the MANY DUmmie anecdotes where they "enlighten" a conservative relative or friend to accept their own paranoid left-wing lunacy fantasies? Of course, they are either completely made up or are complete exaggerations. Well, we now have the opportunity to actually check out one of these fantasy anecdotes. This particular anecdote on this DUmmie
THREAD was written up by none other than the infamous Pied Piper Pitt. In his fantasy anecdote, Pitt portrays himself as the all-wise educator of a clueless Bush supporting bar bouncer named Ty who he describes as being very large and also originally from New Orleans. Since Pitt is from the Boston area, how hard would it be to track down such a bouncer in or around Boston as described? If this bouncer exists (which I suspect he does) I somehow think he would be less than happy with Pitt's portrayal of him as some sort of yahoo who needed to be educated on political "realities" by the all-knowing Pitt. Methinks, if Pitt is exposed he might want to reconsider which bars he goes to since he might have to confront a rather angry bouncer from New Orleans.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

They've never gotten past the maturity level of a fourth grader. They make up all these fantasies, live as if it's reality, then get really upset when it doesn't pan out.
Liberalism really is a mental disorder.

IMAGINE THERE'S IMPEACHMENTTune: "Imagine" Imagine there's impeachment--
It's easy if you're high.
No proof to slow us,
And no one asking why.
Imagine all the 'pubbies
Voting all our way. . . .
Imagine there's no Chimpy--
It isn't hard, DU.
No one like Rice or Rumsfeld,
No Dick Cheney, too.
Imagine Karl the Traitor
Serving life at least. . . .
You may say I'm a DUmmie,
But I'm not the only one.
I bet there's way more than fifty,
And there could be fifty-one.
Imagine no more DUFUs--
I wonder if you can.
No need to read their humor
And laughter at our plans.
Imagine all the freepers
Feeling bad like us. . . .
You may say I'm a DUmmie,
But I'm not the only one.
I bet there's way more than fifty,
And there could be fifty-one.

CU is talking about taking Pitt up on his $10,000.00 bet by paying Ty to call Pitt a liar.
General consensus on CU's board is Pitt's bar is Bukowski's Tavern.

A clue given on one of the DUmp threads:
The scam is called the Dead Author's Club, as the bar is named after a dead author.

I told a story in another thread about a conversation I had with the doorman at my bar, who is a Bush guy.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...
Some seem to think the story is fiction.
I stated in another thread that I would wager ten thousand dollars ($10,000) on the matter.
Come to Boston, come to my bar, and meet Ty. Get the story straight from him.
Right now, he is reading Bamford's 'Body of Secrets' (because I gatev it to him), so he may not love you too much.
Is it fiction?
Find me, and find out.
Ten grand says it is gospel truth.
Try me. I'd enjoy the money.
On edit: Come on, Freeper firetruckers. I'd love to deprive you of the next seven payments for your double-wide. Cowards.

wouldn't Powell say to himself that Gore was really elected in 2000 and then meekly step aside and let Gore take over the presidency? Is that you, Jonathan Alter?

The post impeachment administration: Powell-Gore? Kucinich-Flyarm.

[And don't forget Denny Hastert. We must get rid of him too! Plus everybody down to about the 145th level of succession.] Say hello to President Kevin Bacon.

Frankly, the only viable Republicans are John McCain and Colin Powell. . . . Yes, old "Strawberries" McCaine, that model of calm, cool stability. . . .

Democrats need to insist on some kind of "government of national unity" -- in other words, the appointment of a Democratic vice president. The only Democrat with the stature to be vice president under those circumstances is Al Gore Joe Lieberman.

After all this national trauma, would you prefer .... Powell-McCain? McCain-Gore:

The succession to the presidency is defined...I don't think your scenario accounts for the fact that the Constitution was amended to provide a clearly defined succession of the Presidency. How is your scenario going to get around the 25 amendment? Just be like Jonathan Alter and live in your Alter-nate Reality.

Bush will not be removed by the impeachment process. That is just a pipe dream. Of Pied Piper Pitt!

So who will be the post-Bush prez if not Powell? Sen. George Allen of Virginia would be my choice at this point, to take office on January 20, 2009.
