Saddam Closer To Bomb Than Anyone Thought
Stop The ACLU ^ | 3-Nov-06 | John Stephenson

The New Yorks times confirms that in 2002 Saddam Hussein's "scientists were on the verge of building an atom bomb, as little as a year away:"

Among the dozens of documents in English were Iraqi reports written in the 1990’s and in 2002 for United Nations inspectors in charge of making sure Iraq abandoned its unconventional arms programs after the Persian Gulf war. Experts say that at the time, Mr. Hussein’s scientists were on the verge of building an atom bomb, as little as a year away.

Had the United States not eliminated this threat, today we would be facing a nuclear armed Iraq and possibly a nuclear armed Iran.

Fortunately I don't mind screaming.

Treason Media has not reported at all on the FACT that Saddam's nuclear program was subcontracted to Libya. Isn't it odd that it has had NO interest in that very interesting FACT?
I can't imagine why.

It's also interesting that conservatives aren't screaming it til the cows come home. I wonder why.

...but Paul Newman can hand him some salad dressing. Newman has come out in support of Lamont. (Shocked! Shocked, I say!)

Oh barf! I have to admit I'm not surprised either... :-(

When was it that he was trying to purchase Yellow Cake? It seems that should enter into this equation.

Oh boy, let's bring Joe Wilson back into this!

The NYT thinks it's "the October surprise" because they're so full of Bush Derangement Syndrome they think they can spin this any way they want.

Could the continued and seriously falling stock price finally caught up with the NYT brass and they are going to change teams?

The Slimes thinks they can claim that the administration's translation of these documents (and specifically, their posting them on a website) helped Iran get their bomb research on the righ track. I don't see it working. It's a big leap to figure they needed the help or got anything from the docs that wasn't already on the Internet. I think this will blow up in their faces the way the wiretap and finance tracking stories did, and it will end up functioning as a November Surprise that favors us.

--It seems like they were referring to the early 1990's was when he was close to having nukes.--

The liberals at the time were chanting 'no blood for oil!' in the streets and OPPOSING Gulf War 1. Among them was John F. Kerry.

Without Gulf War 1, Saddam indeed WOULD have developed a nuke, with which to blackmail the Saudis, Iranians, and choke off the world's oil supply.

But! BUT! BUT!!! BUT Iraq didn't have any WMD!!! What the!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!! :) Boy confirmation that Iraq had a nuke weapons program in 2002 and 2003, and unemployment down to 4.4% with 92,000 jobs added, and something big to break on the Rush thread today, this is a BAD day to be a liberetard Democrat!!! :) The Democrats will lose seats in the House and Senate. I've said it for months and I believe it even more now.
