IntroductionWe hear from prominent Western leaders that Islam is peaceful and that those who commit violence in its name are heterodox fanatics.

Part 1: ‘There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Prophet’Our interviewees affirm their belief that Islamic violence is entirely orthodox behavior for Muslims and stems directly from the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad and the commands of the Koran. We learn that the example of Muhammad is one of a violent warlord who killed numerous people. The Koran – the verbatim words of Allah – prescribes violence against non-Muslims and Muhammad is the perfect example of the Koran in action.

Part 2: The StruggleWe learn that jihad, while literally meaning 'struggle', in fact denotes war fought against non-Muslims in order to bring the rule of Islamic law to the world. Violent death in jihad is, according to the Koran, the only assurance of salvation. One of our interviewees tells of his personal involvement in terrorism and his leaving Islam.

Part 3: ExpansionFollowing the death of Muhammad, his 'rightly-guided' successors carried his wars to three continents, fighting, enslaving, and massacring countless Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Hindus, and others. Islam did not spread through evangelism or through its natural appeal, but through aggressive wars of conquest.

Bad Muslims will tell you that.

Your post also raises the question: is repentance sufficient for absolving sin? Could assassins pray, like St Augustine did, for the Lord's enlightenment and humility after they're done being bad? (Not that St. Augustine was a murderer, but you get the picture.)

Well, all those Western leaders are wrong; And fortunately, most Americans, I think, know better. The problem with that seemingly rational claim is that it masks the ugly reality: even a tiny percentage of mindless dedicated killers is a huge number and the silence of the remainder is the lifeblood that sustains the killers.

That "small" percentage claimed can be as low as 5% (60,000,000), an absurdly low number, or as high as 25%, (300,000,000), easily demonstrable by reading a week's worth of news reports and statements made by the killers themselves, who in many cases are running entire governments.

As for the original absurd claim going unexamined, perhaps so by the MSM, but certainly not by the American on the street, or by any human being on earth who makes even the smallest attempt at remaining informed.

Bernard Lewis tells us that the West and Islam have been engaged in a struggle since the 1870s when the Turks tried to enlist PanIslamic feeling in their struggle with a West that was encroaching on their empire. As he says, few Western leaders, inclduing most assuredly the "Realists" can comprehend how central Islam is to the civilization of the Middle East. They cannot imagine that anyone could put religion at the center of his/her lives, so they look for any cause except religion as a factor in resistence to western ideas.

Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986.

The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him.

As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners".

However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands.

The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released.

Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center.

This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified.

It was censored in the US from all later reports.

Since English is not my second language, I can understand the plain contents of the post as referring to the fraudulent "religion of peace", islam.

I have yet to hear of a single non-islamic mass murderer who claimed to have done the deed in the name of his religion. Not one. Not even Sirhan.

The islamic attempt to identify non-muslim killers as "christians" is the most childish sustained and labored claim of the muslim Mass Murderers...
