is the debate on the internet anywhere yet?
LOL!!!
A Clintonesque remark, for sure.
But then I see Clinton-like rhetoric everytime I see Mitt Boy and Rooty Toot.
“well, that’s your opinion, Christopher.” By calling Matthews “Christopher” Fred made Matthews into a little boy who needed a whuppin.
msnbc has it: http://video.msn.com/?mkt=en-us&brand=msnbc&fg=rss&vid=fbe846f5-8580-47f5-9c44-3e8317dd8be9&from=34
This is comical ... Oprah’s friend, Gayle King, is interviewing Chrissy about his new book:

“TV Host Chris Matthews on Success
Original Air Date: October 10, 2007
Audio Come back after 12 p.m. (CT) to hear an audio clip.
In his new book, TV host Chris Matthews reveals how some of the most powerful people in America got to the top. Chris himself knows a thing or two about successhe started out as a Capitol Hill police officer, served as the top aide to the late House Speaker Tip O’Neill and today is the host of MSNBC’s Hardball and NBC’s The Chris Matthews Show.
Gayle talks with Chris about his book, Life’s a Campaign: What Politics Has Taught Me About Friendship, Rivalry, Reputation, and Success, and about the keys to finding success in any field:
* Get yourself in the game. Whether you work abroad with an international aid organization or you take an internship position at home, Chris says you have to put yourself out there to get ahead. “You never know what door is going to be opened,” he says.
* Dress like you’re getting paid, even when you’re not. Professional attire and a neat, clean presentation will help you get noticed. “If you dress for work, then [managers] say, ‘We should be paying this kid!’”
* Do the job at hand. Focus on accomplishing the tasks you’re givenwhether it’s doing research or getting coffeerather than looking ahead to the next job or connection. People will notice if you’re distracted, he says.
* Rejection is part of the game. “Not everybody is going to like you,” Chris says, so if at first you don’t succeed, just keep trying.
* You only have one reputation. Establish who you are and be consistent rather than trying to reinvent yourself. “People don’t like people who keep changing on them,” Chris says.

Too bad .. so sad .. he forgot his
own scripted philosophies.
Reputation? .... LOL
-fred called him christopher as if he were a misbehaving child.
How many questions tossed Fred’s way? Has that been added up?
Thanks in advance!
Well, that’s your opinion, Christopher
Well done... thank you!
See 79 and 80 ... and thanks to calcowgirl.
I think the time is getting close when they should start applying a 5% rule to these debates.
You need 5% or more in the polls to be invited to the debate.
Otherwise, it’s a cattle-call.
For one thing, Chrissie spends way too much time giggling at his own moonbat stream-of-consciousness comments.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of Rudy, he is not scared of her-thighness.
Nice thread on the debate. Be sure to click on the link on this post (#32).
Oh, and check your freepmail.
8-)
I was leaning towards Fred, but after watching the debates I think I’m just going to go with whichever frontrunner picks Duncan Hunter for VP.
LOL. Now that’s cool!!!
