OK. From what I am gathering, Ron Paul loony toons are NOT going to vote for any Republican candidate if their lord Paul doesn't win. RP himself said he could not guarantee support for the GOP Nominee should he lose.
Furthermore, I do not believe most of the core RP supporters are even Republicans to begin with. They constantly despise and disparage anyone but RP. With such an inability to support a party, how can they expect the party to support them should they win?
I believe the core of the RP support is Libertarian, with a healthy does of Nazis and Alex Jones mindless minions. None of whom are Republicans (there are a smattering of Republicans in RP's camp, but they are the trailer park variety, and so don't count).
We all know RP is going to lose, and he says he will not go third party. For all their noise, RP supporters who refuse to vote for the GOP will not take any real votes away from the 2008 election. These are people who do not vote anyways, are not part of any real party, and for all their noise are not going to have any effect on Election 2008.
New Hampshire has a healthy (pardon the expression) dose of Libertarians, seasonal Massachusetts college students, and has "crossover" election trickery. (Dims voting for the weakest Republican to skew the election).
With Ron Paul in the chase, NH's primary election is nearly meaningless.
No, we all don't know that. I certainly am not giving money to Ron Paul because I know he is going to lose.
It's comparable to the gay activists and their agenda--a small minority constantly making noise with jackhammers, cymbals and kazoos. Most folks find them hard to ignore, yet very annoying.

Howard Dean was doing better than Paul at this point in his race a few years ago.

Yes. Its the only thing RP has for the Dims. There is even an RP problem on DU. With the top three Democrats stating they could not guarantee a withdrawal before the end of their presidential term is up in 2012, RP is the only hope of the anti-war, maggot infested left. Dennis the elf has failed to galvanize even the most liberal voters, RP is the last gasp.
I don't expect he'll get the nomination. Can we expect that you'll be sure to correct anyone who blames the loss on RP supporters/Libertarians if the Republicans don't win?

By that time Ron Paul will be just a fading memory. He was never a factor. No one will blame him. Once the primaries are over, there will still be 10 months for the US to forget RP.

If Ron Paul’s supporter’s decide to sit out the election after the primary then you have no one but yourself to blame. It’s not as if calling his supporters “nazis” make them feel very welcome.
