Of course. None of the RINOs Rudy McRombee are viable for President. That’s why they don’t want Fred as the nominee.

This is the singular most wide open nomination I’ve seen in my lifetime.
Yes, much is indeed in play.

Dude, I most certainly don’t look like your sister. But thanks for sharing.
She’s kinda hot in a weird sort of like the nuns in my grammar school.
Happy New Year to both of you.

Huck should run those ads. The more negative he gets, the better Romney’s numbers get. :)

Huckabee has surged because he won a couple of debates and he’s got evangelical support. If a quick rise can happen to the liberal pro-life evangelical Huckster, it can happen to the conservative pro-life evangelical Hunter.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

In this poll Hunter is up 3% and even with Paul and Thompson.

Hardly... I hate to say it but Romney, nor Huckabee would be able to beat Hillary. No way we are going to win this election unless Thompson gets the nomination, frankly. He’s the only one strong enough to beat her... The media will devour Mitt or Huckabee the day after the nomination. They are the media darlings right now because the liberal media KNOWS they can’t beat the Democrat nominee come next November, and they are counting on it.

As for this little event with Huckabee. It just proves that the man is two-faced IMO. Trying to prove he’s a “good guy”. A good guy would’ve just pulled the ads and not tried to capitalize on it, IMO OR would’ve run the ads and not worried about people perceiving him as “negative”, instead boasting that it was the TRUTH and he wanted to warn people...

This all is just a stunt trying to make himself look good, while at the same time trying to get the “bad stuff” out there about Mitt without taking responsibility for his actions. Nice little ploy, but I think a lot of people will see through it, and it’s going to backfire on him, to the benefit of Romney — which is sad.

Wish someone had a tape of the 1992 (?) Senate debate of Mitt vs. Fat Boy Kennedy.

Fat Boy was in danger of losing, and pulled out all of the rhetorical stops. He was at his vicious, lying, over-the-top best, and was shameless in twisting obvious little nothings into almost laughable portrayals of the Satanic Mitt.

Does this sound like something Hitlery and the Clinton attack machine might do?

In any case Mitt was too much the gentleman and not at all equipped for this kind of hardball, and he folded right there on stage for all to see. It was sad.

It’s not a meltdown, but he seems to not have had much control over his campaign spending money to make ads he didn’t want, or to schedule a press conference to announce ads he wouldn’t run.

Plus, he loses points for mixing negative with personal. Personal attacks, people don’t like. Negative ads are the mainstay of politics.

He told Russert that he wishes his campaign was that smart.

Which means first, he thinks it was actually a good thing to have the cross move across his video.

And second, his staff not only wasn’t smart enough to make that ad, but wasn’t even smart enough to NOTICE it.

“help me, help me, help me”.

From “The Fly”.

For a person who professes to only have turned against Romney because of an obsession with your possible future inability to take ownership of a weapon you could freely buy today, you seem to have a lot of concern with many other aspects of the campaign.

Your post reminded me of a scene from a movie I really enjoyed, with Danny Devito.

Andrew Jorgensen: "Well, maybe that's true, but it is also true that one day this industry will turn. One day when the yen is weaker, the dollar is stronger, or when we finally begin to rebuild our roads, our bridges, the infrastructure of our country, demand will skyrocket. And when those things happen, we will still be here, stronger because of our ordeal, stronger because we have survived."
To which Devito's character rightly responds:
Amen. And amen. And amen. You have to forgive me. I'm not familiar with the local custom. Where I come from, you always say "Amen" after you hear a prayer. Because that's what you just heard - a prayer. Where I come from, that particular prayer is called "The Prayer for the Dead." You just heard The Prayer for the Dead, my fellow stockholders, and you didn't say, "Amen." This company is dead. I didn't kill it. Don't blame me. It was dead when I got here. It's too late for prayers. For even if the prayers were answered, and a miracle occurred, and the yen did this, and the dollar did that, and the infrastructure did the other thing, we would still be dead.

I think that’s the picture he sent me on his christmas card.

Nice looking family. Shame that they have to put up with so many people who are clueless and ignorant slandering their family members.

Yes, however in this case the company is very much alive, it’s the various operating divisions that are in play, and some may end up having greater operating costs than are desired by the board of directors or in this case several of the major share holders...

You can be sure they’ll find that tape and play it if Mitt wins the nomination — just to embarrass him. If he can’t even handle Ted Kennedy in a debate we don’t have a prayer re: Foreign policy if by some miracle he became President.

We don’t have a chance if Mitt or Huckabee goes up against Hillary. Sad, but oh so true. I hope and pray that this is all media hype and that die-hard conservatives come out in droves in Iowa and set the record straight so to speak for Thompson.
