Plausible deniability - keep that in mind for the coming days and weeks. Clinton needs to derail the Obama Express somehow without the entire planet figuring out that her campaign and/or surrogates were behind the dirty deed. Right now Clinton has a great case to make for stepping into the breach to replace a damaged Obama campaign. She has the popular vote lead right now in many reasonable scenarios, and the party is clearly split 50-50.
Yet all indications are she may suspend her campaign tomorrow in New York. So what gives with this whisper campaign about a video showing Michelle Obama ranting about “Whitey”? Isn’t it getting down to the wire for anything to save Clinton right now? The stage is set for Clinton to take over, all that is needed now is for Obama to fall somehow. I am beginning to wonder more about that tape since some liberal bloggers apparently have been exposed to a transcript or audio or something. How else could two very close variations on the tape’s content come out of the liberal blogosphere?

How Larry Johnson wants you to hear it:
Whitie cut folks off medicaid? Whitie let New Orleans drown? Whitie do nothing about Jena? Whitie put us in Iraq for no reason?
These two versions are too close to be independent guesses. These two bloggers either talked to the same person, or persons who had seen the same tape. Booman’s excuse always seemed to me like grasping out of desperation. So maybe there is a tape.
Whatever the case, if Hillary suspends her campaign and then the tape was made public and Obama started to tank in the polls (he is not far from there already for a Democrat), then it would be ‘Hillary to the rescue’ and not ‘Hillary the traitor’ as the story line. Complete and utter speculation on my part, but if I was to commit political character assassination, and needed to cover my tracks, this option would look good - if I was desperate enough to do the dirty deed to win office in the first place. Food for thought.
BTW, I made a category for the Michelle Obama “Whitey” Video posts in the off chance this story takes off and demands a lot more attention. The fact I did this ahead of time usually means the story dies off quite quickly!
Update: It seems Obama supporters are admitting a video does exist, and these folks talked to the blogger above who claimed to have a version of the transcript:
"but I’ve had several Obama supporters admit to its existence and say what was on it. I also have an email I was sent last night that had some potential verbiage. And I was also sent a link by one of my visitors which pointed me to this site which is the supposed context of the tape."
These two bloggers seem to be getting the same information from common sources. Anyway, will this tape now disappear from history?
So Hillary will then, feeling the call of her party in its hour of distress, naturally agree to be the presidential nominee as Obama’s campaign blows up?
gee who knew how warm and feeling Hillary was? Here we thought she was all about the cold political ambition. If this happens, then she can waltz into Denver and agree to pick up the slack from Barack.

The only reason I think the tape might exist is because of all the effort being put into telling us (before we've heard it) that it's about George Bush and about enunciation. I see the supposed transcript, and those explanations makes zero sense to me. But some folks are pushing that explanation real hard.

Why the hell is it a ‘dirty deed’ to make public a tape of Michelle Obama making such statements, if it indeed exists? Can someone please explain that one to me?
My theory: if the tape exists, it will come out this week. If it doesn’t come out this week, then it’s not real. I can’t believe something like this could be kept under wraps for very long.
But I could be wrong. Just my two cents.
WHITEY-GATE
Because telling the truth about democrats is dirty campaigning and utilizing attack ads.
It will make Obama supporters angry if it has Hillary’s fingerprints on it. It has to look as if she has no reason to leak the tape and make it look like McCain did it. That way, if Hillary is the eventual nominee, it will help prevent the Obama supporters from switching to McCain.
Hannity on radio will talk about tapes shortly...
I’m mainly asking rhetorically. Its just nuts that its something that we have to worry about. Shouldn’t the concern be her supposed comments?
If there was any such tape, you can bet your sweet a$$ that hillary would have had it out there long ago!

Yeah...Hannity is probably in a dark room somewhere with hillary’s criminals helping splice together this so-called ‘whitey’ tape.
This doesn’t sound bad enough to doom Obama.
Will it have an eight-and-a-half minute gap?

I can see a scenerio where the tape comes out, Barack baracks out the backdoor, and when Hillary ascends the throne she appoints old Andrew Young as her VP choice to appease the blacks.
Or Harold Ford. Or Bill’s buddy, I forget his name, the guy who was shot once.
Then the Clinton’s get their chance at the White House while the tape launches Barack out the door.
Is this really what we want? Hillary back again? Whoever has the tape, wait until November 1. Wait until their is no chance to replace Barack with Hillary. The Clinton ghost is far too active to be put down with one or two or three tries. So consider keeping it locked away until Hillary is well out of the picture.

Because it will cause hurt feelings. It’s all about feelings, you see. ;-)
After all, we don’t really need to know anything about our President’s actual views, do we? And everyone knows that the First Lady has zero influence on the President, as well...
