Over at MyBarackObama.com, users can set up their own blogs in support of their golden boy. And so far, all kinds of left wing, anti-Semitic, 9/11 troofers, Mumia Abu Jamal supporters, and terror supporters have come out of the woodwork to spew their bile.

Vilmar has an excellent summary of what’s been happening. Here’s what he wrote:

A fellow blogging friend proved conclusively that Barack Obama and his staff are “distorters of truth” and discriminators.

A few months ago she tried an experiment on Obama’s site and created a blog titled “Jemaah Islamiyah For Obama.” In case you don’t know, Jemaah Islamiyah is this wonderful peace-loving group:

Jemaah Islamiyah is known to have killed hundreds of civilians in the Bali car bombing on October 12, 2002. In the attack, suicide bombers killed 202 people, mostly Australian tourists, and wounded many in two blasts. The first, smaller blast by a suicide bomber using a backpack, killed a small number of persons in a nightclub and drove the survivors into the street, where the vast majority were killed by a massive fertilizer/fuel oil bomb concealed in a parked van. After this attack, the U.S. State Department designated Jemaah Islamiyah as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Jemaah Islamiyah is also strongly suspected of carrying out the 2003 JW Marriott hotel bombing in Kuningan, Jakarta, the 2004 Australian embassy bombing in Jakarta, and the 2005 Bali terrorist bombing. The JI also has been directly and indirectly involved in dozens of bombings in the southern Philippines, usually in league with the ASG.

Then Pamela at Atlas Shrugs found it and Charles at LGF did, too. And they posted about how Barack supported terrorists. They also conjectured that this could have been a set-up.

… since I’ve been noticing how the Jew haters and terrorist lovers have been flocking to Obama. I decided to try a little experiment. I went to the Obama site, and just for fun, tried putting up a page called Jews Against Obama. Naturally, I received a message saying that my page would have to be approved by an administrator. (Sorry I have no screenshot.) So after waiting a few hours with my page not going live, I decided to try something else.

I made a page called Jemaa Islamiyah, and called myself Fatima. And sure enough, there was no message saying that my page would have to be approved by an administrator. It went up immediately. And this was back in March. I was surprised at the friendly welcoming comments I received. In fact, I even received an invitation from one guy to be a friend.

Just to refresh your memory, Jemaa Islamiyah was the group behind the Bali bombing. And just so you know, that page is still up on the Obama site.

But let me remind you that Barack Obama is running as President of the United States. So his people had damn well better know about Jemaa Islamiyah! So as I see it, the fact that “Fatima’s” page is still up there proves to me that the Obama people are either extremely ignorant, OR that they welcome support of terrorist organizations because they share that same hatred of America and the JOOOS. Neither one is a good sign.

We can discuss the merits of whether or not she should have done this but I agree with her in that if you are a prominent person in any field, especially one running for president, and you are stupid enough to allow people to post anything they want on your site because it gives you a “tingle up your leg” to be so “common” and “in touch” with the plebes, then you better have some great staff monitoring your site. And you better not go around telling everyone how open and truthful you are when your lies are blatant and so easily exposed.

The opposition has noted, numerous blogs here that do not advance our cause of electing Obama, expanding the # of Democrats in the House and Senate, or advance the cause of Middle East peace and justice or responsible withdrawal from Iraq.

I just received the “How the Jewish Lobby Works” from a VERY right-wing Republican person. Are these blogs being moderated at all? what gives?

It wouldn’t be unreasonable for some to be flagged to review if they match some keywords.

Examples of items that get flagged:
profanity,
words like “hate”, “murder”, etc. (might not want to be associated with what they have to say, or revise it)
Ethnicities (of which the “Jews” would get flagged)

Now, if it gets flagged, it would be easy enough for a mod to look into it and approve it. However, if it something they wouldn’t want to post, just dump it. The default would be to go straight up on the sight though since the overwhelming majority would be more benign in nature.

Using a title such as “Jemaah Islamiyah For Obama” probably would hit their filters, and would go right through.

Sorry, distracted myself while I was typing my post. The last line was was supposted to say:
