Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don't obtain a nuclear weapon.
But Obama is not a member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee. Obama just made that up so he could count the committee's action as one of "my deeds."

All the lies don’t matter: the American people are as sold on Oprah’s Obama — look at the electoral map projections now — as their parents were on GA Jimmuh in 1976, even though Lester G. Maddox warned otherwise. They won’t listen. But I don’t think Oprah’s Obama would have made much of a splash without the failures of GWB.
Suppose Obama was a member of the Senate. And suppose he was an idiot. But then I repeat myself.

It took a long time to catchBill even with the media on his tail. Obama is being given a free pass by the media, and gets caught anyway.
You can tell Obama is an habitual liar,,he lies so much it is a reflex.
It would be far too risky, but I would love McCain to give a sealed envelope to the NYT. Inside the envelope would be a statement such as "Tomorrow I will take credit for an accomplishment with which I had nothing to do. I will model my statement on Senator Obama's statement about the Banking Committee. Let's see which senator is pilloried by the NYT."
And McCain should have his news conference, casually mention that he takes credit for something Charles Schumer did and let the chips fall where they may.
It would be beautiful -- but, as I say, too risky to actually attempt.

Something is wrong with Oprah’s judgement, though many credit her with being a know it all. I don’t know about that woman, but my dislike for her has grown. It’s funny though, I didn’t feel that way about her when she began. Power sure does corrupt. Oprah’s audience is just as unlikeable as she has become. I really don’t blame Obama, he is an affirmative action candidate. He isn’t a liar. He believes what he says because he has never been challenged being that he is on the receiving end of affirmative action. He has been allowed to live his entire life under a delusion. He is not alone. It’s why this country is being so messed up because the truth isn’t even part of the equation anymore. Obama is just a product of our time. The only problem, the really evil power brokers are proping him up.

This needs to be shouted from the rooftops. Someone needs to collect all the Obama lies and write a book. It would probably be longer than “War and Peace”.
