Washington Post Editors Rip Obama Again: Endorsement Coming for McCain?
The Patriot Room ^ | August 6, 2008 | Bill Dupray

Posted on 08/06/2008 12:32:38 PM PDT by Bill Dupray

The editors of the Post have nailed Obama on failing to do the townhall debates, called him "Foolish," "Irrational," and "Wrong" on Iraq, and today they nail him on his plans for a windfall profits tax and using the Strategic Oil Reserve for rebate checks.

They even use economics, of all things, to show why The Messiah is wrong.

And here I thought that Economics 101 was an elective in college that liberals skipped in favor of the more popular "How to Light a Beer Bong in a Stiff Wind at a Spit-on-the-Soldiers Rally - 101."

More to this than meets the eye. Compost has always shilled for Hitlery...hmmmm... methinks we have in store quite a bit of drama (and dramamine...) at the conven-, uh, coronation in Denver.

It would be AWESOME if the Washington Post would endorse McCain. It would be a nail in BHO’s coffin if the most liberal DC paper doesn’t endorse him!!

LOL. You are seriously deluded if you think the Washington Post is ever going to endorse McLame. In the end, they will endorse Lord Obama.

Time to get beyond these worthless newspaper endorsements and get some real votes by working the ground...

The Washington ComPost always endorses the Democrat. And McCain is the Democrat.

LOL. As a long time subscriber to the WP, I can say with absolute certainty that Obama will be endorsed by the WP. Even in today’s paper that contained the referenced editorial, there was a front page hit piece against McCain involving bundled donations. This is the WP trying to use the fig leaf of “objectivity.”

Very curious.

I can't imagine there is any chance they will actually endorse McCain, but they have been as tough as anyone in the MSM on the messiah.

There were good ideas in the energy plan Sen. Barack Obama unveiled Monday. The most important of these is a cap-and-trade system for greenhouse gases that would auction off 100 percent of emission credits.

Oh for God’s sakes, do I even have to read any further, comrades?

Papers like the NY Times and the Washington Post love to use this summer beach-going downtime, after the nominations are settled but before the post-convention crunch time, to take some digs at the Dem nominee. That way they have something to point to when people say their coverage of the liberal amounts to a ceaseless hagiography.

This is one of those efforts.

There is no way in hell a liberal rag like the Washington Post will ever endorse a Republican. Not even a big government, liberal leaning milquetoast like John McCain.

Never. Not a chance.

I don't know.... It might put a nail in McCain's coffin too.

It's all to look temporarily evenhanded before they pull the lever for Barry. It gives them something to fall back on when he loses so they don't look like absolute, complete idiots. They will only look like absolute idiots.

The bundle of $2,300 and $4,600 checks that poured into Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign on March 12 came from an unlikely group of California donors: a mechanic from D&D Auto Repair in Whittier, the manager of Rite Aid Pharmacy No. 5727, the 30-something owners of the Twilight Hookah Lounge in Fullerton.

I think there is a possibility that someone will suggest that BHO should be DQ’d due to hime not being a citizen or something huge that will propel Hitlery to the nomination.
