Bounce-Killer Palin Also Gives McCain 10 Point Boost Among Independents - In Two Days
The Patriot Room ^ | August 31, 2008 | Bill Dupray

Sarah Palin is a Bounce-Killer. Actually, Palin was only partially responsible for zeroing out Obama’s convention bounce. Obama himself was also to blame. Rasmussen did a three day running poll, which included Thursday (Obama’s speech), Friday (Palin pick), and yesterday.

[snip]

There have been significant changes in perception of John McCain in the two days of polling since he named Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. Since then, 49% of Republicans voice a Very Favorable opinion of McCain. That’s up six percentage points from 43% just before the announcement. Also, 64% of unaffiliated voters now give positive reviews to McCain, up ten points since naming his running mate.

Great news! Only problem I see at this point is the damn hurricane. The McCain camp has to be ready to put hurricane victims ahead of convention. Otherwise, the MSM will have a field day with them.

Bet it killed Obama’s buzz, too.

And that’s a double entendre, in case anyone misses the pointS.

We need to make sure we are vigilant to the left and there thievery come election day. They will try to steal this quite literally as they have been known to do. I believe it will be a landslide in our favor but we will never know it because of all the shady voting that takes place.
I believe that even more important than voting is to keep an eye out on the people in charge of votes. These guys (the left) are desperate and blood thirsty and as most despots will try anything to save their miserable selves.

If McCain plays his cards right, he can make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. He can turn the opening night of the convention into a Red Cross Donation telethon to contrast himself with Bush. These guys are pros, and this is actually a golden opportunity to show leadership in a literal storm.

Its just common decentcy, something the McCain campaign has, but apparently some high officials in the Democratic Party don’t, they were even caught laughing about it on a plane (pretty pathetic, if you ask me..). I wasn’t even praying against the “Obama Speech” as some republicans/pastors were, because God doesn’t work like that.

As I understand per ABC News both President Bush and Vice President Cheney will not be at the RNC and the RNC will be shorter than normal in deference to those who live in areas where the Hurricane may hit. Let it never be said that Republicans do not have a caring heart. Same cannot be said about those other people with the Donkey as a symbol of their party . . . and rightly so.
