...such dirty tricks are not funny. Actually, I believe these predatory tactics endanger the political process by bypassing intelligent discourse.

If you want to see who is bypassing intelligent discourse, look no further than the members of Congress.

That would sum-up any conversation with a lib and most members of congress. Oh and don't forget the media.

What’s with the ‘meme’ stuff lately? All I get out of it is that if one adds a space, they get me, me...

Strikes me more as emetic than memetic.

Thanks for posting this much-discussed doctored photo.

Who believes crap like this?

The same crowd that thinks An Inconvenient Truth is a documentary...

No damage done at all.

Actually it looks very much like the first girl was superimposed on the picture, too. The color of the head is totally different, too. The photoshop of Sarah Palin looks like a better photoshop than the first one.

That's what's so valuable about FreeRepublic and the Internet. Thousands of people with various areas of expertise can focus on issues and uncover "truth." It's what got Dan Rather and is killing the drive-by media.

Can anyone her track down the creator of the fake? All that is known now is this:

I have not been able to track down the creator of the faked photo. The earliest appearance found by Doctor Casino is at an Imageshack.us website

“Meme” is almost always used incorrectly since it refers to the passage of cultural traits from one generation to the next. Now it simply refers to images or catchphrases that spread through our culture via repetition. Examples are Dan Quayle's supposed stupidity, George Bush as a warmongering dunderhead, Christians as would-be American Taliban seeking to impose a theocracy.

And now of course we have Sarah Palin who members of the media wish to portray as a empty-headed, book-burning, hip-shooting, unqualified, theocrat seeking to invade your vagina and who should have aborted her baby - like Obama would have.

If you click on the links you will find that the person who took the original picture vouches for it.
