Democratic Ticket Picks up Key Endorsements
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 21 Sep 2008 | John Semmens

Posted on 09/21/2008 8:32:54 PM PDT by John Semmens

The Obama/Biden campaign continues to be bolstered by widespread support.

The Russian newspaper Pravda advised voters to reject the McCain/Palin ticket, referring to Senator John McCain (R-Ariz) as a “decrepit warmonger” and Governor Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) as a “worthless bag of hair.”

The Communist Party USA, called Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill), “Americans’ most feasible option for a progressive policy that will further the country’s move toward a truly socialist future.”

The New York Times called the addition of the “woefully inexperienced” Governor Palin to the GOP ticket “frightening,” suggesting that “maybe there should be a Constitutional Amendment requiring at least one full term as a state governor or U.S. Senator before a person can run for vice-president.”

Former Senator Lincoln Chafee (R-RI) called vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin a “cocky wacko” and questioned her femininity on the grounds that “she has more balls than I do.”

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown (Socialist/Labour Party) said he wants Senator Barack Obama to be the next US President. “His social views are more in line with progressive thinking around the globe,” Brown said. “We like him because he is more like us.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared himself ready to work with an Obama Administration. “If Obama enters the White House, then Islam will conquer the heart of the American nation,” he said. “But I doubt the American infidels will allow Obama to win.”

I know this is satire, but if the NYT requirement was met, Obama wouldn’t qualify either.

Great job once again sir.

suggesting that “maybe there should be a Constitutional Amendment requiring at least one full term as a state governor or U.S. Senator before a person can run for vice-president.”

So Obama could not run?

Of course he would. He’s not running for Vice president, after all. Get it?

I’m sorry, but with no input from Hollywood actors, how can Americans know what to think of this election?

The Trojan Candidate
September 21, 2008 by texasdarlin

“The end of an empire is messy at best
and this empire is ending like all the rest.
Like the Spanish Armada adrift on the sea
We’re adrift in the land of the brave
And the home of the free
Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye”

Now why would unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers quote this poem on his blog this month? Do you think he knows something, or hopes for something that we don’t?

I do. And it has something to do with the candidacy–and potential presidency–of Barack Obama .

how stupid can they be? full-term senator as a requirement for vp, but no such requirement for pres? anyway, one does not have to even be in politics to run for US President... such a requirement is even more scary than a 2-year governor running for vp...

LOL! Exactly...it’s amazing how stupid many Obama supporters sound when they try to put the “experience” issue out there...too funny.

“Lincoln Chafee...questioned her femininity on the grounds that “she has more balls than I do.”

You got that right. In fact, Chafee never had one. He wears the skirt in the family! LOL!

Is this a true representation of the NY Times? Are they not aware that Obama began running for POTUS after only about 130 days in the Senate????? Palin is running for the VP slot.

Why doesn't one full term as a Senator before a person can run for President apply to Obama?

NYT is such an irrelevant news source.

And, as for the rest of the maggots endorsing Obama... s pffft
