Ever heard of Nahmdi Auchi? Mr. Auchi was the financier for long-time Barak Obama friend and fund-raiser Tony Rezko. Mr. Auchi is the cousin of Saddam Hussein and his co-conspirator in the 1959 failed assassination attempt of the Iraqi Prime Minister. Although he eventually left Iraq in 1981 and became a British citizen, Auchi prospered mightily under Saddam, becoming a billionaire and pillar of British society (He ranks 279 on the Forbes list of the richest people) He was convicted of committing fraud in France in 2004 (only had to pay a fine) and has been barred from entering the United States since 2005. A small price to pay for his profitable family ties.... Mr. Auchi's activities didn't stop here unfortunately. As The Washington Times highly respected national security reporter Bill Gertz wrote earlier this year: A 2004 Pentagon report obtained by The Washington Times identified Auchi as a global arms dealer and Iraqi billionaire "who, behind the facade of legitimate business, served as Saddam Hussein's principle international financial manipulator and bag man."..... The Court revoked his bond before trial because he hid a $3.5 million dollar loan from Auchi in violation of a court order requiring him to disclose his assets. This was the first time that Auchi's name had popped up in connection to Mr. Obama and Rezko. As it turned out, Auchi has "lent" Rezko over $27 million dollars, including loans for $11 million (September, 2005), $3.5 million (April, 2005), and $3.5 million (April, 2007).
The loan that was the reason for the bond revocation occurred three weeks before Rezko and Obama bought two properties together from the same owner on the same day, with Obama paying $300,000 below the asking price while Rezko paid the full price....

1. It’s bad for 0bama.
2. It can’t be summarized in a two sentence lead.
3. Even if it’s easy to understand, see rule #1.
It’s sad because the Chicago Sun Times revealed this information months ago but no MSM pickup. And the public, for the most part, reminds me of the those kids that put their fingers in their ears and yell, I don’t wanna hear it!!! If the media can manage to take their lips off BO’s butt and the public can take their fingers out of their ears, they might actually be alarmed.
Auchi’s lawyers have been threatening media outlets in this country with libel suits in England. They have even cowed the WSJ into spiking stories on Auchi.
Didn't Joe Wilson , former ambassador to Gabon, on the eve of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, dine with Saddam Hussein's "principle arms dealer in Paris" ?
Could that be Auchi, Antoin "Tony" Rezco's buddy?
uh... uh, um, uh...oh.
AUGUST 1, 1990 : (US DIPLOMAT JOE WILSON AND HIS SECOND WIFE JACQUELINE DINE WITH SADDAM HUSSEIN'S CHIEF BUYER OF FRENCH ARMS ON THE EVE OF THE IRAQI INVASION OF KUWAIT) And why were they dining with Saddam's chief buyer for French arms on the eve of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait? Hmm -- 66 posted on 05/09/2004 4:39:19 PM PDT by Shermy via source: Joe Wilson, in Vanity Fair
I wonder if there were similar revelations between Wilson and his second wife Jacqueline... And why were they dining with Saddam's chief buyer for French arms on the eve of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait? Hmm66 posted on 05/09/2004 4:39:19 PM PDT by Shermy
And why were they dining with Saddam's chief buyer for French arms on the eve of Iraq's invasion of Kuwait? How'd I manage to miss that? :) Is there a thread on that?------103 posted on 05/09/2004 8:00:35 PM PDT by Fedora

AUGUST 1, 1990 : (BAGHDAD, IRAQ? : US DIPLOMAT, DEPUTY CHIEF OF MISSION JOE WILSON AND HIS SECOND WIFE JACQUELINE GIORGI DINE WITH SADDAM HUSSEIN'S CHIEF BUYER OF ARMS [in Paris] ON THE EVE OF THE IRAQI INVASION OF KUWAIT) -- source: Joe Wilson, in Vanity Fair
The night of August 1, Wilson had dinner with someone he describes as "Saddam's principal arms buyer in Paris. It was so hot the air was literally shimmering right in front of the windshield. I get to this guy's house, and it had been chilled to 45, 50 degrees ... roaring fire in the fireplace and over in a corner a white baby grand piano and a guy playing classical music on it. The guy looks like a Pancho Villa figure, Mexican bandito.... We sat down to dinner, just him, myself, my wife, and five bodyguards-armed." -- Story link [http://www.jimgilliam.com/2004/01/vanity_fairs_profile_on_joseph_wilson_and_valerie_plame.php]
The wife is Jacqueline, not Valerie. The one who was a "cultural counselor" for a French embassy when he met her. I wonder why they had dinner together...-----------17 posted on 04/29/2004 7:46:03 PM PDT by Shermy

She's mentioned in Vanity Fair. Met in Africa. Married 12 years or so. She was a French diplomat. In Vanity Fair he talks about how she and Wilson attended a dinner with one of Saddam's top arms purchasers on the eve of the invasion of Kuwait. In his book this wife is wholly absent and unmentioned. Wilson specifies he went to the dinner "alone." 37 posted on 03/26/2005 10:49:37 AM PST by Shermy
“uh... uh, um, uh...oh.”
Sums it up.
Wilson will probably become the head of Zer0’s new CIA with a charter to spy on conservatives, real Christians and real Jews in America and around the world.
Great historical review.
