Well, I don't know if one will step forward. I can guarantee, though, that if the goods are delivered the blogosphere can contribute $20,000. In a matter of hours.
Maybe more. More would depend on the tape.
This offer is particularly directed towards Los Angeles Times employees. Maybe ones that just got fired. Or will get fired in the next couple of weeks.

Might some wealthy McCain supporter come up with a reward for a copy of the Khalidi tape the L.A. Times refuses to release.
The tape that shows Obama at a 2003 party with a whole lot of crazy Jew-bashing going on.

LA Times Obama Video: Obama Praises Rashid Khalidi
Excerpted. In a video obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Barack Obama is seen praising radical Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi.
The video was taken at at a farewell dinner for Khalidi, Obama’s colleague at the University of Chicago before his departure for Columbia University in New York in 2003.
The LA Times, which endorsed Barack Obama for president on October 19, published their own account of the events that occurred on the videotape in a story written by Peter Wallsten in April.
The Times refuses to release the videotape, leading many to speculate that the paper is purposely suppressing the tapeof the event, which was reportedly attended by former Weather Underground terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.
The McCain campaign is now demanding that the Times release the video, saying it could, among other things, show how Obama responded to a poem recited at the party accusing Israel of "terrorism" and warning of consequences for U.S. support for Israel, which McCain spokesman Michael Goldfarb described as "hate speech."
"A major news organization is intentionally suppressing information that could provide a clearer link between Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi," said Goldfarb.
"The election is one week away, and it’s unfortunate that the press so obviously favors Barack Obama that this campaign must publicly request that the Los Angeles Times do its job — make information public," he said.
Obama has distanced himself from Khalidi in recent months, saying, "He is not one of my advisers. He’s not one of my foreign policy people," adding, "He is a respected scholar, although he vehemently disagrees with a lot of Israel’s policy."
But according to the Times, Obama said in his toast that he hoped his relationship with Khalidi would continue even after the professor left Chicago. "It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table … [but around] this entire world."
Nancy Sullivan, spokeswoman for the Times, said the paper is not interested in revisiting the story. "As far as we’re concerned, the story speaks for itself," she said.
Sullivan said she would not give details of what else may be on the tape, adding that anyone interested in the video should read the newspaper’s report, which was its final account...(more)

The LA Times only needs permission to release the tape. It might be best to pay for permission and offer the money directly to the person that made the video.

I can tell you, the faces of the crowd were expressing some serious “Oh, S&#$! Here we go again!”dismay.
The person only gave the LA Times a Copy. They can make as many as want.
I wish I had Bill Gates money, I would offer a million for the tape, and a million for the Whitey Video, and more millions for any other negative Obama research.
Do we really need the tape ?
I’m hearing that Obama and Michelle clapped and hooted for Nation of Islam commentary from the speakers.
The “ Blood sucking Jews “ rhetoric so typical of Obama’s neighbor and friend-Farrakhan.
The tape must be devastating.
Otherwise the LAT would be falling all over themselves to exonerate Obama.
Obama is an expert in deniability and always has a back door explanation.
Even if he toasted and said flattering things about Khalidi, that can be explained as gratitude for a fellow employee at their farewell party, nothing worth covering up. The Obama campaign would call for such a banal tape to be released also rather than have the toxic image of a cover-up going on.
The tape almost certainly shows Obama and Ayers sitting together and being way too chummy to fit with the just-a-neighbor hustle.
Hmmmm...this could be a cottage industry. Go to boring fundraisers, meetings, symposiums, forums, workshops, etc., and film up-and-coming politicians for future profit.
