There is something to be said about the fact that Obama seems to be campaigning pretty hard for someone who is supposed to be sitting quite comfortably on his cushy poll bean bag and sipping on a fresh glass of media bias right out of the Obama tank. I think you’re wrong. I have spoken with die hard supporters of Barr, my cousins [6 of them, the family is big], who for months have tried to convince me to vote with them. This last week they are now saying they can’t take a chance Obama will get elected and will be voting McCain/Palin. I never thought they would switch but it seems the Obama comment to Joe the Plumber hit a nerve

I hope you’re wrong too, and it’s my belief that it’s not
such a bad thing for McCain to be associated with Bush.
Bush, despite the villification of the left has not done
such a bad job and I think most Americans realize this deep down, we all have our bitches about his performance but we
realize that he can’t do everything the way we want.
Eight years without a terror attack is a shining record
as far as I’m concerned, and McCain’s association and support of the surge is another plus.

I have faith that the people will make the right choice.
