Last night, 20/20 reporter, Linda Vargas interviewed Sarah Palin in yet another disgusting attempt by a major media outlet to paint Palin in the worst possible light possible. It was deceitful. It was denigrating. It was utterly biased. It was ruthlessly edited. She began her intro by saying that "Sarah Palin is the most polarizing figure in this election."
Are you kidding me? No Presidential candidate has ever been as polarizing as Obama!
If I were Palin, I would pulled a Biden, and decline to show up. At the very end of Vargas' interview, she looked into the camera, batted her eyelids and said, "We also asked Senator Biden if he would also like to appear, and he respectfully declined." That footnote, put at the very end of Vargas's interview, sums up how utterly hypocritical is ABC, and the rest of the mainstream media. But, ABC went a step further. They are not just "in the tank with Obama," they are "in bed with Obama."
First of all, it was clearly edited to make Palin look even worse than if they had aired the entire piece. I visited ABC NEW's website looking for a transcript, and all I found were two video clips on the website, including one that was not aired in the interview. When I looked at the transcript, all I saw was about 30% of the interview.
Is anyone surprised?
While looking for the transcript, I also spotted right at the bottom of the ABC 20/20 website, five boxed images that linked to video clips and stories about Obama and McCain. However, they were not "fair and balanced" Here are the titles:

Vargas came right out of the gate, grilling Palin about her $150,000 wardrobe, taking her kids along with her, and then she talks about how other "prominent Republicans" have said that she's a drain on the ticket, that she should step down." Note that Vargas never mentioned which "prominent Republicans" said that (hearsay), or anything about Obama's money squandering episodes like the $5.3 million fake Greek temple for his inauguration, the $700,000 he spent for the stage and equipment used in his Berlin address, the $20,000 per hour, charter jet, that whisks him off on personal visits to Hawaii, or the $250 million in missing campaign contributions that include a sizeable chunk of cash coming from anti-American and anti-Israel donors.
No, no way. Vargas had a one-track mind, "Bring down Palin." Yet, Palin fielded all of them with class, never batting an eye.
Here are the questions that vagary Vargas asked of Governor Sarah Palin, the 2nd person in this race who has infinitely more executive experience than Obama (Vargas comments in italic):

But the point being that you haven't been so bruised by some of the double standard, the sexism on the campaign trail, to say, "I've had it. I'm going back to Alaska."
You seemed to imply last night in a speech that Sen. Obama, if given the chance, would rewrite the Constitution to allow the courts to confiscate private property. Is that what you meant to say?
He did [Obama]... 'cause I did read that interview. He didn't advocate using the courts. He actually was quoted as saying he thought the courts were not a good way to redistribute any kind of socioeconomic ...
But when you use words like socialism, or, or say he's palling around with terrorists or hanging out with a Palestinian professor, which you just said in the rally ... you seem to be saying that he is un-American somehow.
... or might be dangerous somehow.
Ask yourself, "If it were Joe Biden, would Vargas ask him the same, tough questions?"
Of course not! If that happened, then Obama/Biden would ban ABC from doing any more interviews with them, just as Biden did in an Orlando TV station interview, and another one in Pennsylvania. Obama/Biden also refused to talk to the largest Jewish organization of Republicans because they would also ask tough questions.
You can kiss our constitution "Good-Bye" if Obama/Biden wins. Say "Hello" to Marxist Socialism and the Communist Manifesto: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs." Oh, yeah, that's great if the individual also has freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to bear arms, etc. The "Change" that Obama advocates is our system of government which will become oppressive and corrupt because not everyone can enjoy the privileges of being in the Obama's inner circle. There is no such thing as a classless society in the material world. People will excel in different areas, will make a greater contribution than others, and will also differ in the quality and quantity of their outputs.
In Obama's world, mediocre work will be rewarded the same as top-notch work, and for the rest who do not contribute, or are a drain on resources, well, they will get along just as well as the doctors, lawyers, businessmen.
When this country starts slitting at its seems after Obama is elected, will 20/20 still be shouting "Halleluiah" to the "Chosen One?" Will they finally have an Epiphany and realize that only "Hindsight is 20/20," and wonder why "America" elected him in the first place?
Or, maybe this nightmare scenario will not happen and Americans will use their heads when they get into those voting booths. We can only pray.

Boycott ABC, NBC, and CBS. Palin should have never done an interview with any of them. The McCain camp knew how those obamaniacs felt and they knew they would try and make Palin look bad.
The McCain/RNC “experts” strike again, setting Sarah up to be pilloried. Ask yourself: were you an advisor to Sarah Palin — or any other legitimately conservative candidate — on that fool’s errand. Why send your most prized possession into a ruthless, reckless meatgrinder only hours before the election? Idiots.

After the Charlie Gibson hatchet job on 20/20, with an even more disgusting lead-in by Kate Snow, I resolved I will NEVER watch that show again. Stossel has to find a home on Fox or something.
Parts of the news media have totally blown any credibility they might have had during this election season. I, for one, have a long memory. I’ll be shunning them from now on.
My 23 year old daughter got to go back and meet Sarah after a stop in Indiana—My daughter will tell you that first Sarah was not just gorgeous but she was so sweet and shared a prayer together.

Who he bloody hell is booking Palin on those shows when people like Bill O’Reilly are chomping at the bit to give her an interview — and at least wouldn’t blindside her like Vargas, Couric, Gibson. Didn’t Vargas do the initial narration of the Gibson interview? It was very bad and one-sided, no way I would have stepped foot in there again under any circumstances.
