Why do conservatives feel the need to go on these shows? Barbara was rude to him. Did he expect anything different? Why bother with the glitterati?
I don’t know about ‘loving’ her, but I’ll be happy support her if she publicly (and loudly) opposes McCain’s position on illegal immigration and amnesty. As long as she continues to act as a ‘compassionate’ conservative on this issue, she will NOT get my support. If she is a member of the CFR, she will also NOT get my support. She must (and would be a sure draw for many Americans):
FIRST, effectively secure the border with the HUNTER double fence. Can be done in 6 months. Militarize in the interim. It’s what should have been done on 9/12.
NO amnesty of ANY kind for ANY illegal aliens.
END birthright citizenships.
ENFORCE current immigration laws.
END federal and state benefits to illegal aliens.
PENALIZE business owners/employers who hire illegal aliens.
ACKNOWLEDGE and STOP the agenda for a North American Union.
Bottom line: ATTRITION THROUGH ENFORCEMENT. Because our sovereignty and national security depend on it.
Rush is one of the few people who can hold his own with ANYBODY! He practices 3 hours a day. Rush spoke at Hillsdale College last week. HOO RAH! So he does do conservative stuff too.
And Palin would get more than 45% of the vote if the RNC did not get in her way.
I have a crush on her.
It won’t be love until I hear her talk about immigration, and a couple of other issues.
This cannot be true! Rush isn't speaking out 24/7 about the "birth certificate" and that proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he is "RINO" and out to smear Sarah Palin!
1) Sarah negotiates the Highway Alaska Pipeline that had been stalled for 35 years due to the good ol’boy network between the 3 big oil companies (ExxonMobil, ConnocoPhillips, BP) and the Alaska oil and gas commission. This will increase our natural gas supply by 6%-8% and thwart the emerging natural gas cartel of Russia, Iran, and Qatar. Sarah wins a geopolitical economic and energy war against out enemies -- we will not at their mercy in the future.
2) Sarah thwarts a super majority in the Senate by getting Saxby Chambliss reelected to the Senate. Obama didn't even try to get the Democratic opponent elected in fear of losing against Sarah, thus tarnishing his image.
I'd say that is quite something to be proud of and for the other side to fear!
Palin could become a strong contender, but I’m confident that Huckabee will again be there in 2012 to siphon off enough evangelical votes to make it extremely difficult for a true conservative to win the nomination.
I think Huckabee is the perennial spoiler, one who will never quite win the presidential nomination himself, but who will screw up the field for conservatives.
Expect every Democrat in the country, including the Democrat MSM, to spend the next four years saying and doing whatever they can to demonize her. It will be an all out, continuous effort.
With wealth and power come greed and avarice. A true Conservative would have told Walters to F***off! But he has to be in the limelight. Has to curry favor with leftist hags like WaWa. Just Rush’s arrogance and media stupidity showing. Sure Barb, tyou want to select the 10 most influential people and then try to skewer the right-wing ones by clever editing,...screw you bitch!
She starts with attacks on Rush’s contract and his wealth, as if he is bad man for his success. Oh the irony. Barbara won’t ever have to answer this question about her wealth. She is part of the media elite. Rush did wonderful interview, of course. :)
Even after all of the MSM’s transparent attempts to minimize Sarah Palin - she STILL is the biggest draw around! The people can see through that crap! She needs to just keep doing what she’s doing & getting herself up to par when the next election opportunity rolls around for her. See my tagline, she’s got a great future!
I believe that she needs to finish her term as Governor - which she seems to be performing with great skill - and then join the rubber chicken circuit. Make speeches, raise money, campaign and raise money for conservative candidates at all levels, do appearances (and maybe guest-host) on the radio and TV talk shows, and perhaps most important, WRITE A BOOK that lays out a comprehensive, coherent, conservative plan of action.
