In yet another sign of the impending doom the incoming Obama administration faces, President-elect Barack Obama and his family will be homeless for two weeks in January.
The Obamas had asked White House officials if they could be squatters in the Blair House about two weeks before the traditional date so their two daughters could attend their new school when classes resume Jan. 5. [No president-elect has ever moved into the White House with children before, you see.] Obama aides say the White House can’t meet the request because the current administration still has plans for the historic government home across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House.
“Dick’s got some friends coming up from Texas who want to go hunting in Virginia, and they’re gonna stay in the Blair House,” President George W. Bush said yesterday in the Rose Garden.

Looks like if Obama can spend a bizzilion dollars on a Ring for Michelle for the inaguaration, he can afford to lease a place for a few weeks...or it looks like he might even have a pal living in the area.
Maybe the Obama family should spend the two weeks in a homeless shelter, to really “feel the pain” firsthand.
If Jr can afford to rent the compound in Hawaii in December for $8,250/day he can afford to find a place to live in D.C. for 15 days!
Maybe somebody can give him some CHANGE.

This, “the Office of the President-ELECT”, podium with same, constant inquiries about NObama’s opinion on everything going on NOW, constant hovering over whom he’s choosing for positions.
No, it’s not “so the chiiiiilllldrreeennnnn can attend school conveniently”, it’s so they can get their foot firmly in the door which has already toed in.
He thinks he’s president already, just like all his followers do. He thinks he should be right now, just as his minions do.

Am I the only one that sees the humor in Presidents sending their children to high-end schools? What does it matter? The kids could be as dumb as a bag of hair and they’d still get cushy positions anywhere they wanted because their dad is the Prez.
Oh my dam, sounds like a real pickle for the Obamas.
