Speculation in the mainstream media has begun on whether Rahm Emmanuel’s tenure as Obama’s Chief of Staff will survive the holidays, much less until the inauguration. With the Blagojevich investigation on the front page of every newspaper in America, more and more is being leaked out about the extent and involvement of the former Clinton dirty tricks specialist. And it’s starting to look like the Obama campaign is distancing itself from Emmanuel as fast as it can. The MSM is now openly wondering how long it will be before Obama cuts loose Emmanuel.

Rahm won’t go without a fight just like Blago. Besides, what laws did Blago or Rahm break? These slick and slimy dems will skate like they always do and Obama will come out smelling like a rose like he always does.

This speculation is silly. The little twit won’t resign. Zero has too much political capital from all of the mindless, racist liberals who voted for him. Just expect to see more of this in the future.
I should think it obvious based on recent experience of The One and his loyalties that Rahm will be disposed of the moment his account tips to the debit side of the political ledger.
Not to worry, I’m quite sure he will be recompensed in some other way.

Good riddance. An angry petty man, and when those tapes are released this anger and pettiness will be on worldwide display. America, much less The Messiah, does not need this man in a high-ranking position.

He didn’t earn his nickname Rahm-bo for nothing. Obamanation absolves him which helps obamanation. Rahm-bo won’t leave because obamanation will be blackmailed should he withdraw his support.
When these underlings resign to spend more time wih ther families, we should press the question “Were you acting on your own (unbelievable) or did the president authorize you?”

Agreed. And I don’t know what media pressure this author cites either.
Rahm would be submitting his resignation under vast media pressure true: if he were a Republican.
So I don’t see it.
He would be facing indictment by Patrick Fitzgerald if he were a Republican. Fitzgerald loves the attention. As long as he doesn't offend Obama directly, the media will treat hiim like they used to treat McCain.
For someone of Rahm's stature, using Lake Michigan is a bit of overkill, no? A deep puddle should suffice. ;-)
Everyone is assuming Blagojevich is Fitzgerald’s prime target. I suspect that may have been the case until others (among them Emanuel) began showing up on the tapes. I suspect Fitzgerald has now entered into a “target rich environment”.
He’s not going to resign.
