I'm Not Watching

I'm Not Watching

I will not be participating in viewership of any and all ceremonies of one Barack Hussein Obama. I have cut TV/Cable News out of my life by 90% since the election. Since then my blood pressure has been perfect, my diet has been more balanced, I sleep better, and I do not have mood swings based on breaking news every 5 minutes.

I recognized the night of the election that this country has turned a page and as I will quietly support sites such as FreeRepublic and other TRUE Conservative causes..I find absolutely NO need to drive myself to an early grave over watching Democrats destroy everything I stand for.

I already saw this movie before...twice..Carter and Clinton and this show is going to be indeed the JAWS 3 of the 3 of them. For those who don't know JAWS 3 is widely considered one of if not THE single worst sequel to a hit franchise in film history.

There will be crimes like we have never seen before, liberties stripped, taxed to high heaven, and the news will be bad, bad, and more bad of Democrats getting away with everything.

I know the ending so why bother re-watching a bad story again? I will keep tabs on FR...make a post here and there and when it comes time to fight to regain control...I will be back around on a regular basis.

But for now...I refuse to watch him get sworn into office...I don't want to watch President Bush and Laura leave to the cheering Democratic crowds throwing shoes as symbols of their hate for him. Nope...don't care about the balls that will be held...the 24/7 coverage of how incredible and great this man and moment is.

Want none of it.

This was a man who was created and groomed for this moment by Madison Ave, Soros, MTV Networks, Viacom...they can have their parties...the same ones they didn't have for Bush either time because we were at war or the election was too close or some other B.S.

Last I checked...we are still at war...on the very same levels and it is getting worse with Cuba, Venezuela, Russia and a few other countries trying us right now.

I'll choose sanity and not give a single ratings point to this circus. Chris Matthews, Wolf Blitzer, Katie Couric, Brian Williams, Keith Olbermann...and the dozens of losers who work under them...pat yourselves on the back because I for one will not take part in giving you an ounce of attention.

Ping me if the world is coming to an end...I'll be in the shower.

I’ll be in transit all day, therefore no possibility of seeing any of it. Hoping for really bad weather in DC including lightning. Lots of lightning.

As far as I am concerned we have a chance to again get a qualified president, a real American patriot, a CONSERVATIVE, that believes in the principles the founding fathers created this country under —— IN 2012.

Unless something can be done to change the primary process, this is a faint hope at best. Liberals will still be the majority of the first votes. Liberals will cross over in droves to pick someone for Obama to beat. The process has become flawed.

I’m afraid I will do what I did on election night. Drink way too much Jack Daniels and have a good cry...

“To feel so different from so many of your friends and country men is not fun.”
I know how you feel. I’ve felt this way for a lot of years. What’s really terrible is realizing the obvious: that America is dying, and so many people either are too blind to see it, or don’t care.

I wont bother myself with his coronation either. The heck with him and his sheeple minions.

I WILL however keep a close eye and be ready when the “one” decides to start stripping away rights. I will be there to be the loud voice of dissent JUST like they did to Bush for 8 years, and I will see that in the end me and mine are protected from “change” as best we can.

I cant change the election, but I can change the way I live so that I will not be effected this time like I was during the Clinton years.

Its our turn to call names and shout that “dissent is patriotic” and I wont be denied this time around.

With Obama as President, no black man in the world gets away with blaming his situation on "white people" ~

A black friend of mine actually said that - she's happy that her brother will have to get off his butt and stop blaming "the man" for keeping him down. She's a very successful professional who came from a no-pot-to-piss-in-or-window-to-throw-it-out-of background and she has NO pity for anyone who refuses to make something of themselves.

I don’t think the extended version lasts for four years...but I like the way you think. :-)

Good for you. I've cut the cable, we are happier without the BOOBTUBE. I don't watch anymore, we watch old movies on DVD, classics. Lib TV is the plague, doom and gloom, Obama Mania. Total removal of the lib influence on our lives. We are much happier now.

Reject the theatrics, but resist the change -- my plan also.

I salute you, Headache, for turning off the Tube.

...it makes me ill to think people voted for this man.

At the risk of sounding like a Pollyanna, remember always that Obama won by vote fraud. His support is illusion. That's true for many (you may even say most) Democrats in office. Yes, the media has a choking Liberal grip on politics, which is how the voter fraud has been allowed. But it's as if we all recognize it at the time -- I mean, Al Franken a legit officeholder, for pete's sake????? -- that these guys really can only win by cheating -- and then we sweep it under the run like it doesn't matter. But it must matter.

A year later, it's kind of verboten -- kind of like, "Get over it." And there is wisdom to that in the bureaucratic sense. The truth remains that Democrats must cheat to win because most voters reject them. They did in 2008, too, if the ballots had been cast honestly. Whether we like it or not, that's the truth. ACORN success has us so dazzled and befuddled that we deny it instead of look it in the face. Not to go on a campaign to stop voter fraud, though that would be nice, but to assess the real dynamics. I think the liklihood is that there are a LOT of people who in some way or another, share Headache's view.

That's not to say that a whole lotta suckers didn't vote for Obama. A shocking number did. However, it is to remind that a very large percentage of Americans are scratching their heads saying, "Did that many people really fall for this clown?" when it comes to the Frankens, the Kennedys, the Grey Davises, the Chicago politicians.

Sooner or later, when the pinch really hurts and honest, productive Americans are hurting, something's going to blow because while the media illusion presents a picture where Everybody Loves Obama, the reality is that "the people" think he's a load.

I love hockey. It’s comforting, since there’s no sport, other than golf, that is less able to make a connection to Obama and his minions.
