The Obama administration has been hiring journalists left and right. But Rick Santelli probably shouldn’t bother sending over his resume.
At a White House press conference today, Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs was asked for the president’s reaction to Santelli’s outburst on the floor of the Chicago commodities exchange yesterday. Two things stood out about his answer.
First he said everyone at the White House got a good laugh out of it.
Then he concluded his longer remarks by saying, “I’m sure Mr. Santelli doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
Every time Obama announces more of his “stimulus” program, the stock market plunges anew, announcing rather clearly that Wall Street thinks it’s Mr. Obama who doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Santelli struck a nerve, no amount of whining from the WH is gonna make us believe anything from these bozo’s mouth.
These people are totally oblivious and they udnerestimate the American people who make this country great.

People I can’t stand to even look at, much less listen to - John Kerry, Howard Dean, Robert Gibbs.
At least chocolate has some redeeming value.
Gibbs is almost as arrogant as his boss. Oh how I will laugh when he finally falls. Santelli was spot on and the mocking routine that they used on him as they use on anyone who disagrees with them is getting worn out fast.
Pretty soon, when he or his boss gets up to talk, they’ll start chanting: buuuulllll shhhh*****tttttt, buuuuulllll shhhhhh******tttttt...
LOL - I hope so.
My husband doesn't care enough about politics to get upset over things. He'll listen to me prattle on about the outrage of the day, then move on with his real life and his real stuff.
This clip pissed my husband off. He just took a pay cut, the guys he manages have lost work days. He wasn't amused with Gibbs' cocky little comments and the journalists laughter.
