The Democrats' conspiracy to demonize Rush Limbaugh, directed from the Obama White House, has the talk radio icon laughing all the way to the bank.
Today’s U.S. News Political Bulletin reports Rush Limbaugh is a clear winner this week:
His ratings have nearly doubled since his feud with the White House burst into the media limelight.
Byron York asked Rush about the effect the Democrats' plot has had on Rush's business:
The latest numbers I have are for January, well before this kerfuffle began, and they are through the roof -- six shares in NY, for example. There are daily ratings taken now in about the top 15 markets but I have not seen them yet. All I can tell you is that as of January, we booked 80 percent of all our 2008 revenue and we'll be over 2008 by the end of this month.
According to Talkers Magazine, since the Democrats' conspiracy was put in motion, Rush's audience has grown from 14 million to 25 million.

I wonder how they determine how many people listen to a radio program.
Some here have been saying we’re all being played by the Dems, that this was their plan all along.
I don’t think the plan is going as the Dems thought when they started this foolishness. Their idea, from looking at Limbaugh’s negatives, was to paint the GOP as being led by this guy with high negatives.
They forgot the old adage, “There’s no such thing as bad publicity.”
People are worried about the economy, so when they hear that the president is getting flack from this guy, they’re tuning him in, just out of curiosity, so they can be in on the thing everyone’s talking about.
The problem for the dems now is that people will see the GOP being painted as Limbaughland as being a GOOD thing.
At the rate this is going, since everyone will be listening to Rush by July ... lessee ... it takes three months listening to Rush to agree with him.... that means Rush can retire ... July, August, September, ... by October Rush can retire!! LOL!

And any so-called "Christians" that voted for Obama needs to think it through.
One can't be an Obama voter and call themself a "Christian".
Not even remotely possible.
They do ratings, like TV. I was a subject once, they sent me a little schedule booklet and I kept track of everything I listened to on radio, for a week I think. I also received a telephone poll one other time that included all sorts of media consumption--radio, TV, newspapers.

An additional 11 million listeners? Barack is playing with fire, I would be that Rush can convert 4 million of those 11 million if they listen for 2 weeks or more.

I tend to agree with you, although salvation isn't obtained by voting against Caligula. And this breaks my heart. I work with some folks sent out with various organizations, Mission Aviation Fellowship, New Tribes Mission, World Team and a few others. One of my colleagues was absolutely ecstatic with the election of Caligula. How she could set aside the pro-death issue and vote for him I cannot see. I do not understand it at all. I have actively avoided her since Bloody Tuesday. I don't want to get into it with her. I think I'd end up calling her a racist.
How about Rush for President ?? since the Liberals already think he is the RNC leader.
Yet, we need to ban unions out of all state and federal government connected jobs because they are a monopoly. A boondoggle for union workers and 300% unneeded extra cost to tax payers.
Too bad the DC Repubs couldn’t put 2 & 2 together here.

Actually, he can CALL himself a Christian, but no way can he BE a Christian. Not possible.
