I have always been a strong willed person, certain of my convictions, not led by peer pressure or others opinions. Ive known instinctively since childhood that life begins at conception and its a fact and opinion held firmly by both sides of our families, mine ( Jewish and Christian) and my husbands is Scot and protestant.
Sex is a choice, and pregnancy can be a result of that choice. Should you not wish that option, prevention is an alternative. But not abortion, this is simply termination of a life and in (Ex.21:22-23) it states
If men strive, and hurt a women with child, so that her fruit departs from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the womans husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life.

Good article. Her statement “sex is a choice” might need to be addressed. Sex is not a choice for rape/incest victims. I realize pregnancy from rape is rare, but it does happen, and should be addressed.
My opinion is that killing your baby does not make you feel better or take the trauma of rape/incest away. It just gives you a new trauma with a thick layer of guilt. Carrying and delivering the baby, while difficult, in the long run ennobles the mother as a life-giving, sacrificially loving person, which is much better for her (not to mention the baby).
In most cases I’d be of the opinion that the resulting child should be placed with a loving adoptive couple. But I’m ‘pro-choice’ in that area.
