Shepherd Smith of Fox News needs to take some time off; the stress is OBVIOUSLY getting to him. Shep demonstrated college student naivete and narrow-mindedness regarding necessary war tactics used to protect Americans from our enemies, particularly those who strike us first and want our destruction and demise.

While channel surfing several days ago, I happened to catch him in the middle of a rant about “torture.”
He was hysterical and practically screaming, “not in my name.”

It is my understanding that we have waterboarded over 60,000 of our special forces troops and that waterboarding was the traditional hazing practice at VMI.
Scaring the crap out of somebody can not be consodered torture — unless you’re a whiney beeyatch like Smith.

It was not your imagination. This whole “waterboarding is torture” crap is getting out of hand.
When the left first started with this several years ago, it was the duty of the President and SecDef to tell the American people about the real torture that has been used on Americans and then compare that to the frat hazing methods that we employ.
But, they hoped that they could work with the left and settle them down by just agreeing with them.

I suspect if right after 9/11/01 someone asked Shep if he would object to waterboarding Al Qaeda members to get info on possible future terrorist attacks, he would’ve had no problem with it. ...and neither would most libs who are now complaining about the “torture” of terrorists in our custody. But years and years of irrational Bush hatred has rotted their brains to the point where they now consider Osama bin Laden a saint by comparison. Shep, like his lib comrades, is all emotion. A drama queen’s drama queen.

I caught a segment on Studio B the other day. (I REALLY don’t watch that program as I usually listen to Hannity. Really!) But he had a segment on torture and his guests were Clifford May and Judith Miller.
Well, the way Smith let Miller talk almost to a filibuster and the way he and Miller talked over May, drove me to a negative e-mail to him. It won’t help, of course, but it was a way to let him know why I change to Dobbs on CNN when his ‘show’ comes on.
When those against torture bring up the subject about it not working -— that the ‘victim’ will say just anything, doesn’t ring true. Didn’t we get actual useful information from some of these guys? And able to avert 2 or more terrorist acts?
