The United States suffered through an unusually severe winter, with snow falling in such unlikely destinations as New Orleans, Las Vegas, Alabama, and Georgia. On Dec. 25, every Canadian province celebrated a white Christmas, something that hadn't happened in 37 years. At one point during the winter Europe had such a killing cold wave that trains were shut down in the French Riviera and chimpanzees in the Rome Zoo had to be plied with hot tea.Three of the Great Lakes - Erie, Superior, and Huron - almost completely froze over.
More bad news for the Church of Global Warming happened when the National Snow and Ice Data Center has acknowledged that due to a satellite sensor malfunction, it had been underestimating the extent of Arctic sea ice by 193,000 square miles - an area the size of Spain. And latest news is that scientists have found that the Arctic ice cap is twice as thick as first thought:

This is why they renamed it “climate change”.
“See, the climate changed...quick tax that energy!”
...well this only proves that “climate change” is happening faster than we all first thought. :)

The globalist warmers have won the day, and it matters not one wit what is proven about the greenhouse effects of carbon gases. Is man’s contribution to carbon gas levels harmful? No. To the contrary, they are quite likely a beneficial contribution to planet earth and her vegetation. Are we effecting earth’s temperatures? Not very likely, as the cooling trend since 2001 would indicate. The sun rules. ...The globalist warmers are all about power and wealth. They are about controlling the world’s economy and everyone participating in it, and 0bama is going to hand their dream to them. Hell could freeze over, and they would go right on preaching their lie, and ridiculing anyone who says it’s cold.
