This is a real test. Not too easy, but it does not take long to do.
Sit comfortably and be calm. This is a serious test, not a joke.. Put your thinking process aside - i.e. put your brain in neutral gear.

I’m 46, just woke up, and thought this to be rather easy considering I have not even finished my first cup of coffee.

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.
LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS uses logic detail oriented facts rule words and language present and past math and science can comprehend knowing acknowledges order/pattern perception knows object name reality based forms strategies practical safe
RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS uses feeling "big picture" oriented imagination rules symbols and images present and future philosophy & religion can "get it" (i.e. meaning) believes appreciates spatial perception knows object function fantasy based presents possibilities impetuous risk taking
I laughed so hard I nearly pissed myself.
At least I don’t have Alzheimer’s. LOL
What were we testing again????
I seem to be able to make the image reverse direction at will.
Is this legit or some kind of gag.
My initial perception was that it was moving in a clockwise direction.
Maybe it's because I am a dancer, and that limited part of my perception IS right brained.
Who cares in what direction she's turning.I want her phone number!
I have Irish Alzheimer’s.That where you forget everything but the grudges.
me too, I could “make it” change directions. Almost back and forth.
I took a battery of tests in 1988 when I enrolled in the now defunct Grumman Data Systems Institute. (Operated by the now defunct Grumman Aircraft Corporation)
I was told that I scored extremely high in the Logic exam, but that I also had a very creative and imaginative side as well. This was a pretty exhaustive set of exams which took a number of hours to complete.
I can change the direction by looking away and looking back. What does that mean? Initial look was counter clockwise.
The nips are distracting.
“It requires no decoration. I find tinsel distracting”. - Frank Costanza
“It’s another Festivus miracle!” - Cosmo Kramer
Try it again around sundown.
After test #4, they intended to add:
"If you voted for him, forget about tests #1-3. You definitely have Alzheimer's--or some other severe form of dementia.
Funny... in test #4 all I saw was 43 presidents and a Kenyan.
It changes direction.
"Right brain" and "left brain" hadn't been invented yet, but I scored high on the logic, not so high on spatial relationships.
It depends I guess on what I'm doing. I'm very intuitive and kinetic when I'm participating in sports or dance, but not so much sitting down.
