The One Violation that may Spur Obama's Downfall
Columbia Conservative Examiner ^ | June 22, 2009 | Anthony G. Martin

It has been documented that Barack Obama has committed various impeachable offenses. But one single violation of the law stands alone as the one that could bring about his downfall. The key is if and when liberals rediscover their conscience.

Conscience... bwaahhaaha. Liberals can't even discover a free and fair press. If they had, the Walpin story would be front and center 24/7.

The Democrats booted their conscience from the party years ago.

Sorry, for the most part this will not happen:

1. To admit they are wrong and conservatives and Christians are right is not something a liberal is capable of doing. To do this destroys EVERYTHING they believe.

2. Many/most liberals are more interested in power than doing what is right. They would rather say “We Won” and exercise this power than anything else.

Sorry, nice try.

This one will hurt Obama.
The questions is only, “how much will Obama be hurt”?

I expect at least a few more Democrats to jump on this issue, if only as a way to distance themselves from Obama, now, on something that would probably not upset the Dem base of support.

It is my understanding that he fired a few more IGs at the end of last week. This is beginning to sound like the Saturday Night Massacre that occurred during the Nixon Watergate years that got all the liberals and the media in an uproar. Right now all I hear is crickets chirping coming from the left.

The Founding fathers of this country understood human nature better than most do today, and that is why they tried to create a system of checks and balances. They also created, on purpose, a slow and inefficient legislative process. They understood that men were more concerned with personal power and wealth than with the principles of right and wrong. It is a huge mistake to think that the National Socialist Party (formerly know as the Democratic Party) is the least bit concerned about ethics. It is all about power and self-interest. The only power that they fear is the power of the mob. As long as they can fool the American sheeple, they fear neither God nor man.

The rule of politics has forever trumped the rule of law.

Politicians are no longer bound by any laws if the balance of power in Washington is at stake.

I think Obama's administration has the potential to implode.

He has too many friends on the take, too many people to protect, too many favors he owes to too many people and groups.

“The key is if and when liberals rediscover their conscience.”

I’m hoping we won’t need the liberals to rediscover their conscience. I’m hoping there will be enough Republicans in Congress by 2010 that we won’t even have to deal with liberals anymore.

Except for the fact that the state-run media has sworn to protect Obama at all costs.

How sad is it that one of the only good things that can be said about Connecticut politics is that we fielded the only Democrat Senator who loved his country more than his party.?

Sad.

This is why he's scared of Fox News and Talk Radio.

For liberals, gaining power is what is right, by any effective means at all.
