According to the Honolulu Advertiser, it was practice to get birth announcements from the Health Department via a news service, not from private submissions, as evidenced by that fact that two independent newspapers had the same announcement with the same announcements for other infants before and after. The announcement had to come from the Health Department, via the birth registration. So what gives? Did they live there or not? It all becomes clear with careful reading and examination of the evidence.

Dr. Conspiracy seeks to make something of the lack of notarization. He is obviously not familiar with sworn statements in federal court and the manner in which they are authorized by statute so as to not require notarization. That should be a tip-off as to the depth and accuracy of his inquiry.

Is there an actual birth announcement on record at the newspaper

The birth announcement was "discovered" on July 22, 2008, ten days from the date of the death of the long-time owner of the property at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, one Mrs. Lefforge.

The announcement was located in the Honolulu public library microfilm (microfiche) of a notice placed in the Sunday Advertiser Aug. 13, 1961. The announcement in the "Births, Marriages, Death" section read: "Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy., son, Aug. 4."

Now, look at the address on Obama's birth announcement? According to the birth announcement, Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, (Sr.) resided at 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy. There should be other links that connect their stay at that address. There is no documentation or corroborating evidence that they ever lived at that address or were associated with that home.

The owners of the residence located at 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy, the alleged address of Obama’s parents when he was born, was Orland S. and Thelma S. (Young) Lefforge, both of whom are deceased.

In 1961 the Stanley and Madelyn Dunham lived on Kamehameha Avenue. Obama Sr. lived on 11th Avenue. The Lefforge family, including their 3 children under the age of seven were residing at the luxury home listed on Obama’s birth announcement -- 6085 Kalanianaole Highway.

Beatrice Arakaki affirmed she was a neighbor of the address listed. She has lived at her current residence of 6075 Kalanianaole Highway from before 1961 to the present. Mrs. Arakaki said that Obama, his 'mama,' and his 'papa' never lived there. Arakaki told investigators that she had no recollection of Obama being born or of the family living next door having a black child born to a white mother.

Dr. Robert Allan Nordyke joined the Straub Clinic, located at 7192 Kalanianaole Highway Honolulu, HI 96825, on April 11, 1960. He was a pioneer in nuclear medicine.

I suppose it's just a coincidence that his wife, Eleanor Nordyke, pops up and says she gave birth to twins on the same day in the same hospital, then the birth announcement shows the same street address as her husband's clinic? And the twins birth was never announced at all? A physician and his wife give birth to twins and there's no announcement?

Where is the birth announcement for the Nordyke twins, who both turned up in Obama's kindergarten class? Were their names eventually removed and another name substituted in the same space?

They lived in Apartment 2 of the Villa Ria Apartments at 516 13th Avenue E on Capitol Hill, and she enrolled at the University of Washington. But their stay was brief — probably less than a year — and in 1962 they returned to Hawaii.

FROM a DIFFERENT STORY (if same location): They lived in a three-story house that had been converted into three inexpensive apartments. Toutonghi and her family lived in the basement apartment, and Ann Dunham — Obama’s mother — lived in the apartment directly upstairs.

I remember visiting the World’s Fair, and then stopping by Stanley Ann’s apartment on Capitol Hill. It was a small apartment, upstairs. In August, 1961, she enrolled in a University of Washington extension course. Between August, 1961 and March 1962, she enrolled in a total of four extension courses at the University of Washington, earning a total of 20 credits for her work in those courses, no small feat, considering that graduation required 180 credits, and the typical full time student earned 45 credits a year.

It was a curious academic choice. Why would she enroll in extension courses at the University of Washington when she had found herself intellectually stimulated during her previous year of studies at the University of Hawaii?

It appears from the following item, that Anna returned to Hawaii between the Univ. of Washington’s Winter semester and the Univ. of Hawaii’s Winter semester. I’ll try to get an exact date, but for now, that would be around December 1962 or January 1963.

So it’s fair to conclude that Anna was living in Washington during the period from August 1961 through January 1963.

I had read most of what you posted except did not catch the above statement. I did not know that the resident of the address had twins on the same day as Obozo's birth. That makes the pieces fit better, do not know how I missed this before.

I believe that Obama was born in Kenya. I read your comments. Where are you suggesting Obama’s mother went to after giving birth in Kenya? Directly to Seattle and enrolling in the University of Washington or making a brief stop in Hawaii?

It's been reported numerous times that know one remembers Ann Dunham or Obama Sr. living there from a neighbor who has lived there for about 50 years. Someone (WND?) sent an investigator to that address finding no evidence to support the announcement.

Considering that, and post 3 above related to the birth announcement and this caption underneath the image of the 6085 Kalaniana’ole Highway home cited in the birth announcement from the Honolulu Advertiser (look at the first house picture and caption on the right):

I’d say that there are some pretty gaping holes in this story. Did they live in this house, or in the cottage behind the house? Did they live there are all? Did the Dunhams live there, and if they did, were they the ones that were the source of the birth announcement, and why?

I’ll tell you why. It wasn’t because they thought Barack would someday be POTUS...it was because they wanted their daughter’s son, their grandson, however illegit or whatever the case was, to have the benefits of US citizenship and thought they could get away with that...

Now fast forward to the controversy today.

I agree with most of your post, but I flat-out do not believe that the Dunhams EVER lived in that House on Kalanianaole Highway. I know that the Dunhams lived on Kamehameha Street in 1961 because they lived only a few houses away from where I lived in the early 1960’s. However, I do not remember their daughter. I do not think she was around much.

I believe that the birth announcement was placed in the newspaper by Madeline Dunham, and I believe that the birth certificate was issued based on her representations to the health authorities, as could be done in 1961, just to make sure that the grandson would not be deprived of his US citizenship. They were gaming the system, but they were not doing so in the expectation that he would need the citizenship in order to become President someday.

Indeed, it is my view that Obama is ineligible regardless of the location of his birth since his father was not a US citizen at the time of his birth, nor was he even a permanent resident.
