It is illegal in most states - Texas included - to falsely represent oneself as a physician.

She should be investigated by the Texas Board of Medicine & the Board of Social Work, and punished appropriately.

Her university should also investigate whether she has violated any codes of conduct.

Just what the country needs: more community organizers. What is really sad about these people is that their own lives are usually complete trainwrecks but somehow they feel qualified to dictate how everyone else should live.

I'm not a lawyer but I suspect that the laws require the performance of some medically-related act which only physicians can perform while claiming to be a physician. If so, I strongly doubt commenting at a townhall meeting would qualify.

Such a qualification seems necessary. How many young, attractive, gullible women have been picked up at parties by "doctors"? While such an action is sleazy and sinful, it doesn't seem to be a crime.
