He liked to joke about Chappaquiddick (Audio)
Examiner ^ | August 28, 2009e | Heather Hogue

Ed Klein, former editor for Newsweek and New York Times Magazine, was a close personal friend of Ted Kennedy and decided to share some memories of the late Senator on The Diane Rehm Show.

KLEIN: I don't know if you know this or not, but one of his favorite topics of humor was indeed Chappaquiddick itself. And he would ask people, "Have you heard any new jokes about Chappaquiddick?" That is just the most amazing thing. It's not that he didn't feel remorse about the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, but that he still always saw the other side of everything and the ridiculous side of things, too.

Sorry dude... that was an epic FAIL! Making jokes about a death of someone that you let die is in very, very poor taste.

Never mind Teddy left Mary Jo to die so he could save his sorry a$$. Let's try to take away a positive lesson from Teddy's life. If Teddy has taught us anything it's that fat, drunk and liberal is no way to go through life.

If we all could just reach one young person and head them off from the path of obese drunken liberalism, then Teddy's wasted life would have meaning to us all...instead of just the people who he got money for from our paychecks.

RIP Teddy...or not

So OLD DEAD TED would think it was fitting for us to share jokes about him then, right? Maybe we should start a new thread.

Humor is great. Sick humor is SICK.

It distracts from the serious topic and belittles it in fact.

Very worldly. Not compassionate. MO

When you think about it you realize this shows the Leftist mindset: Chappaquiddick is just something that happened to this really nice caring pleasant humane guy, who was just out minding his own business, having a little party. An accident. Not at all his fault, everything he did was understandable. Sad, but hey, he bears up under the tragedy and makes jokes about this unfortunate turn of events.

Instead of a window into the soul of a totally corrupt self-centered liar and coward who left a another person to die because of the risk to his political career. And the reality that the Leftists are all right with him leaving her to die, because he will be on their side in their battles to “fix” (and I mean in the sense of castration) American society.

I am thinking of the Big picture ... our society now is filled with multiple tasking, frantic time schedules. hyper news reporting ... largely from the left,... distractions of Michael Jackson's death, Ted Kennedy's brain tumor, the CIA current ado about nothing, are all distractions from what is actually occurring behind the scenes.

It has long been true ... that creating distractions that get attention ... are covers for doing major things that are quietly slipped through legislation or whatever.

Stay alert. in Washington any flap is typically controlled and created to be distractions.

The major news medias are only too happy to create the diversions. In another sense ... our children, and all the gadgets, games and TV programing are also meant to train, brainwash, and seduce their way of thinking. Most of us are aware of the overt sexuality content ... Not new but highly progressed from earlier years when we were children. Some/many parents are too busy to notice the result.

This JMO.
