Is Sarah Palin the “real” Hope for Change?
Mark Epstein ^ | 09-05-09 | Mark Epstein

The president’s strategy on January 20 was to hurl all the vast transformative spaghetti at the wall — stimulus, auto nationalization, cap’n’trade, health care — and make it stick through the sheer charisma of his personality. Unfortunately, the American people aren’t finding it quite so charismatic, and they’re beginning to spot the yawning gulf between the post-partisan hopeychangey rhetoric and the budget-busting prosperity-throttling future-beggaring big-government policies. Mark Steyn

Mention Sarah Palin’s name in polite company and you’re sure to ellicit a firestorm of indignation from all sides of the political spectrum. And even though it’s a foregone conclusion that her name is a catalyst for those who support “all that is wrong with the country,” (regardless of political striping), we’ll journey to that dismal land of Palin-bashing and irrationality.

Would I be correct if I thought you voted for them in 1996 & 2008, respectively?

As of today the population is sick of the Kenyan, I’ve never seen anything like this. I just wonder how the Republicans will screw this up. I know it will be difficult but I have every confidence that they can do it. YES THEY CAN!

"Hope" is such a nebulous word that I still can't believe anyone would use it as part as a political campaign. We all know that "Change" means anyone besides George Bush or a Republican.

If I were a conservative politician, I would never utter either of those words.

Notice how the libs hardly ever talk in patriotic terms. To them, the flag is just a prop.

Instead of that lame 'hope' and 'change' which equates to commie.

Palin could say, "Are you looking for 'America' - well, let's find it together".

It's there but we just can recognize it any longer - until she tears off the commie masks on all his 'accomplishments'.

I agree . The pubes will find away to screw this up. Lets not forget that many of them would have signed on to the unread fiasco so they could continue with their New Tone jive . Look at the legacy frat boy left . A party of weaklings and pussies in total collapse , who , I’m willing to bet still don't get it.

For decades I’ve percieved this to be a struggle between the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks. It’s not the best of comparisons but it works for me.

Basically: it’s a struggle between two parties in control. The Dems are througally corrupt and have a Marxist controlling ideology. The Pubs are merely corrupt (and will have their heads handed to them).

In the background are the Ones who control the money. Good luck figuring it out.

Compare Sarah’s convention speech to what Obama has actually done to America and you will see she predicted almost everything.

Either she is just damn lucky or the lady knows what she is talking about.

By the way it’s not Sarah’s fault that Obama has become such a screw-up.

She has common sense, that’s all.

It’s simple, certainly difficult and unfortunately rare.

If this federation is to survive many things must be dismantled. I know of no mechanism for this.

More than likely not.

The way things are going it may be Colt, Bereta, Ruger, and a few others that will be the only hope for change.

Don’t like that? How ‘bout:

Lieberman/Snowe

Does that make you feel warm and fuzzy?

The permutations are endless.

Your right, it's Bush's fault.
