I intend to photograph the Beck gathering at SAFECO. 9/26/09
As a non violent demonstration., I would like to be accompanied by one or more liberals carrying (legally) holstered (unloaded) firearms. Realistic stage weapons or blank guns are also welcome but I am informed that these will also require carry permits.
My object is to provoke discussion and photograph participants. I would carry myself but do not own a gun and I am told it may take several weeks to get a carry permit.
Feel free to share. PLEASE ASK PEOPLE TO REPLY HERE.

Don't confront them, engage them. Go up and ask: "hey, that's a cool [rifle, handgun]. I have one like that at home! How does yours shoot?"

That was my first thought - this is how shooting gets started. And once it gets started, it sometimes takes a while to stop. Scary times when the ‘sides’ no longer listen to one another and opt for the ‘open carry’ option for the protests.
This numbnut doesn’t own a carry permit, but would get one, just to show up at Beck’s hometown key to the city presentation? Just to make a point?

Well my grandmother has a rifle and I have a Glock - (its hot pink). I just got my conceal & carry permit. I only missed once on my target test, so I am a pretty good shot. Only one problem. I'm a Conservative & a Christian. I know your really scared and I don't want you to wet your pants (what did obama call that? wee wee) So I promise to protect you from those mobs your so scared of. I wouldn't worry too much, most of the people at the tea parties wear depends. Maybe you could borrow one if you have an accident.

I’m a NRA member but there are times and places that an open carry is not a good idea. You’ll be playing into the hands of the radicals by challenging them by arming yourself. Libs have the right to open carry. I wouldn’t be too intimidated. It’s only if they begin to act belligerent. Then it moves beyond bearing arms into a question of intent.
Good point,the idea of a CCW is concealed carry,so just pack as you normally would and if they go for theirs,you`ll be justified in defending yourselves.Is that not the point of CCW permits in the first place?

I am contantly amazed at these lefty idiots that believe a civilian population with more fire power than the Red Chinese and Pakistani armies combined are just going to lay down while they take over our country. Idiot shows the typical liberal ignorance. Washington is an Open Carry State. Go to your local gun store, purchase what you want. If it's a rifle, you walk out with it. If it's a handgun, come back in 5 days after the Federal minimum wait, and pick it up, strap it on your hip, and go.

That’s what Van Jones was all about. Networks in the prison system, etc. It’s not the lefty goofballs in academia that would be doing the fighting.
