Fox News Scorching Rivals

Looking for a fitting historical analogy to describe the current "cable wars?" Try the firebombing of Dresden.

Fox News has been dominating its competitors now for some time, but the latest round of Abritron ratings shows FNC absolutely scorching rivals CNN and MSNBC:

(Chart at link)

As you can see, every show in the top ten is from Fox News, as are 13 out of the top 15. In fact, only one of Fox News' fourteen programs is ranked below #15 in the ratings. That show is Red Eye, which airs from 3-4am - and it still pulls in more viewers than MSNBC's Morning Joe.

The personal battle between Bill O'Reilly and Keith Olbermann is no contest. Even O'Reilly's repeat show at 11pm pulls in 52% more viewers than Olberman's prime time show.(continued)

AND IT HADD NOTHING TO DO WITH McCAIN

Like hell it didn't. McCain was a train wreck. He was born to lose.

“Vote Conservative”

Very understandable. McCain was no conservative. And certainly GWB was not one either. And I held my nose and voted for both over time. Never again.

“Blame the ones who voted”?? I held my nose and voted for McCain. Blame the jerks who didn’t vote.

Don’t be amazed. I blame everyone. Including the Soros sock-puppet from Arizona.

We did,see the fault where it lies and do something about it. If he was the best we could come up with then it is our fault, by your own words

Semi-relevant: Yet Princess Cruise Lines refuses to add Fox News to its in-cabin closed-circuit TV lineup. CNN is the only option. We were on a 14-day cruise during the time Cheney had the shooting accident. Imagine having CNN as the only news station. Torture!

Independents in New Hampshire, Democrats in South Carolina, illegal crossover voters in Florida. And Mike Huckabee's idiots in West Virginia (who switched and voted for McQueeg in the runoff).

While you weren't paying attention, McCain was working with Goerge Soros and Theresa Heinz Kerry's money at the Reform Institute to turn our primaries into a free-for-all. John McCain's train wreck candidacy was the payoff.

We did

You got a mouse in your pocket? Who's this "we"? I didn't even contemplate casting a vote for that jerkweed in the primary.

I’m just surprised anybody watches Larry King. I’m also surprised Olbermann beats Red Eye. If Fox would put Red Eye on a couple of hours earlier, they’d jump up several slots.

Redeye gives Morning Joe a black eye.

Joe's found himself stuck between Porn and Marijuana. Suppose it's not the worst place to be stuck.

where were you, where were any of us who groaned “oh No” when his name came up. Who of us tried to take it off, who of us tried there best to get a better, stronger, more conservative name on the ballot? Who indeed.

It is always the left that makes a mountain out of the smallest stone. I would like to think that those on this forum have their eyes open enough to see the big picture.

As it turned out, that election was lost the moment zeros name came up; simply because “we” thought it could never happen. WE have to get out of this “blame” everyone else mentality....and no one has ever been able to convince me how not voting for one side is not a vote for the other.

"So how come zero won?"

Probably for the same reason Al Franken won. ACORN!

A huge majority of dead people vote Democrat.

There could be a big change in the near future as GE (now controlled by Obama and Co and his stooge, Immelt) is in the process of having to sell NBC. Where are some conservatives with money to buy this piece of crap and turn it around.

Thank you, I surely wasn’t paying attention. Neither were a lot of people

>> Imagine having CNN as the only news station. Torture! <<

If you can’t take that mild torture, then be sure you never vacation in Europe.

That’s because most of the hotels over there carry only CNN INTERNATIONAL, which is so much worse that it makes the “domestic” version of CNN seem almost conservative.

Imagine the unspeakable torture that Freepers went through on the 5 FR fundraising Caribbean cruises. We could only get International CNN on the TVs in the cabins. International is even more Red than American CNN.

Good thing we were all having such a great time that there were precious few minutes to sit around watching the tube.
